Marvel Directors Claim Their Audience Have ADHD (And I'm FURIOUS)

I actually have ADHD and have no problem paying attention to fast-paced things like Spectacular Spider-Man or slow-burn dramas and the like. This is honestly insulting. I also don't have superhero fatigue so much as MCU fatigue as I checked out after DS:MoM. I love animated DC and Marvel, Invincible, Watchmen, etc. The DCAU, early DCUAO, and Lionsgate Marvel features were truly special both before and alongside the MCU and the flawed copycat that is the DCEU.

animated DC (My Adventures With Superman in particular) has always been awesome! I'm still a fan of MCU but they really dropped the ball this past phase. I'm very hopeful for Deadpool & Wolverine, though. As well as their decision to cut back on producing so much and focus more on quality.

Yes I have ADHD which leaves me with almost no tolerance for trash. I can only watch something if it's engaging. Sorry if that makes me a bad consumer. MCU is over. It's not superhero fatigue, it's churning out trash faster than quality would allow.

i think things like tiktok, youtube shorts, instagram reels etc have obliterated the attention spans of people. it's the constant, addictive scrolling & engagement-bait which has hijacked our brains' reward system

all these big marvel heads with these claims are so full of it. they just need to realise that they need to make good content for it to be received well - xmen '97 was good and so it had good reception. if they planned out their live action content as well as you have to plan out an animated show like xmen '97 (i.e. no re shoots, go in knowing exactly what to do), they would get better. and yeah, superhero fatigue is 100% a myth. like gotg3, xmen97, and Loki have been very positively reviewed because they. were. good.

And I think those directors are STUPID. done care either way, I'm not invested too much, never paid for a ticket for any MCU movies............ mostly because of my life style, horrendous cinema prices and other factors. And I could learn the whole story from the web. and I'm not really marvel comic book geek, but i like some of heroes. just chill people. disney sucks, mcu is nothing special. etc. etc. etc.

Well mate, you’re right I do have ADHD but not only that. I’m also autism. Yes I’m autistic who likes Marvel, DC and Bit of Star Wars and is into Hollywood and actors and their History and Trivia
