I'd love to see how a Mrs. Toy Galaxy Top Ten looks, just to see how her criteria differ from Dan's, but I don't want to put her on the spot like that. Maybe another Mrs. Toy Galaxy script, like the Four Minutes or Less, with a random pull of some of her favorites.

Love the Pile of Loot feature, and the $4.00 flat shipping. They're sometimes more expensive than other places, but those two features really keep me coming back to BBTS. They don't pack things the best, but I'm not a stickler for package condition.

Not to distract from the great collections of Mr. Toy Galaxy or Secret Galaxy Whatever it is now Dan :) I've watched now for a very long time (btw I'm working on it and if I can ever convince my wife that a visit to your collection would be qualify as a summer couples' trip, we would be making the 3-hour drive down from Maine) I would like to see what Mrs. Toy/secret galaxy has accumulated by now because you have mentioned so much in your own videos. She might have enough for her own channel at this point. No worries, bro I'd still watch both :D

My last POL back in March had over 21 items, more than half of which were MOTU related. It was worth over $900 and came in two boxes, a few things were down to only a few days before I had to ship it so it's not like it was all stuff I had just bought, I think it was my first POL since before Christmas.

Oh man, I've never let the count get THAT low. Usually 2 or 3 items and I'm already itching to ship it. I think the most items I ever had was maybe 10 pieces still with PLENTY of time left to ship.

I agree with your assessment on physical stores as I think unless it's he man or star wars they don't carry the goid stuff though I'm blessed with one good actual comic book store near me that always has cool stuff called Buy Me Toys

I was at C2E2 in Chicago a couple weeks ago, and the venders with toys it was overwhelmingly the same thing, Marvel Legends, Black Series, and Masterverse/Origins. There were a few with vintage offerings, but even that felt pretty slim there. But I suppose that is supposed to be more about comics and "entertainment"(celebrities) specifically.

I so almost got those Labyrinth figures for my wife. 😂 I want that Spiral… but I think I’m out on marvel legends. Love those Marauders Katana. I use them for my SS and SE also. 😂 love the skeletons. Missed the redemption toys. Got the others.

I’m not a MotU collector and have very little nostalgia for the franchise but I had a really hard time passing up the Scareglow figure for its design alone.

The first 5 minutes of this video are sad, and 100% accurate! Especially about toy shows. Most vendors now are just buying up new releases at Target, and putting them on their table at 150% markup. Which leads to a sea of vendors at “retro” toy shows all selling the same exact stuff!

No recent acquisitions with me, though I'm hoping to get enough money, soon, to buy a loose Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Liu Kang Dragon figure (just the dragon, not Liu Kang himself). It looks so awesome, and I would love to get one, soon. Not interested in the BBTS exclusive one, though; want to avoid translucent plastic, due to the horrors I've heard of their joints breaking, as a result of the plastic's fragility. Speaking of skeletons, my Storm Collectibles MK Motaro figure comes with a skeleton similar to their Golden Axe one, though more spindly and with more hands. I don't really display it with my figure, since it looks so fragile, but it's still rather interesting. Some figures that might be too expensive for you, but I'd like to see some content of, eventually: 1. Phicen 1/6 or 1/12 scale silicone figures (not what you're thinking, they're action figures with accessories and stuff like a normal figure (extra hands and whatnot), but with the body made of silicone rubber for a seamless look), especially their Egyptian God line (I used to have a 1/12 scale Anubis figure from them, but the extra body I picked up for it for messing around with and customizing ended up cracking badly, and I was too afraid to keep the other one, for fear of the same happening to it). 2. Lanard Toys K9 Corps (used to have some of them, but some of the joints broke on a few of them, but even then, I found an insane buyer who snatched them up for hundreds, due to his love of the line. They're pretty expensive, but interesting part of the Lanard "The Corps" line that I'd like to see some content of). 3. Transformers Masterpiece line (Tried picking up a knock-off of one for Tigatron, and decided it wasn't for me, but I'd like to see something going with them). Finally, while not expensive in the least but could be funny to see, Dollar Tree's "Final Faction" line (as the name suggests, they're like a dollar a piece, with action figures, vehicles, a comic, and accessories pack, and even a KZbin show. They're pretty decent, overall; apparently, the grunt figures for the bad guys are considered good armybuilding fodder for similar-sized action figures or customizing into demons and whatnot).

By chance today's desk toy is a skeleton. Decades ago, at school, I wrote a poem titled, "The Dark Rider" and also drew an illustration of the eponymous equestrian. It recently occurred to me that I could assemble a reasonable approximation of him using Mythic Legions parts and who doesn't want to see one of their own characters immortalised in plastic? He still needs a shield and horse to match my ancient artwork, but he's off to a promising start. ^_^

There's a picture at the bottom of the cardboard insert on Man E Faces that I didn't catch until I was taking it apart for recycling...it shows that the huge gun barrel end is to be used on the knob on top of his head to help turn it. Weird!
