Notice that the Ten Rings symbol we see behind the guy's head at 12:00 is the same one we saw for the Mandarin's organisation in IRON MAN and IRON MAN 3. (You should watch the Marvel One-Shot "All Hail the King" that serves as a bridge between IRON MAN 3 and SHANG-CHI. In fact you should watch all the Marvel One-Shots; they fill in various gaps between the main films. There are just five of them, varying between 4 minutes and 15 minutes each -- so if you haven't watched them yet, you could do them all in one reaction video.)

The first Asian superhero (for me, and millions more) was Bruce Lee, who inspired the character in the comics. He was the first film star that looked remotely like me! 🐲🙏🏼👊🏼 I remember them filming this in San Francisco. Can’t wait! Mary, you should check out the new series *Warrior*, an idea Bruce Lee pitched to studios, but rejected him in the lead role, because they “weren’t sure an Asian could lead a series”. They took his idea and cast a Caucasian to play tue Asian lead, so Bruce went to Hong Kong to make his name, and when he finally got so big there, America took notice and made his final film. Sadly, he never lived to see his influence around the world. 🥀 Luckily, his daughter has brought his true vision of The Warrior to life!

Shang-Chi (pronounced Shung-Shee) is canonically the best hand to hand combat fighter in the Marvel universe. He gets in tune with his chi to fight, also if proficient with different weapons, knows multiple fighting techniques and his known superpower is that he can duplicate himself and supposedly each of his clones has their own personality per say (dunno how true is this), and they can shoot fire bombs from their hands. In the comics, he's the son of Fu-Man Chu which Marvel doesn't own the rights anymore and is a very racist character, so in the MCU they retconned it to be The Mandarin's son, which you see in the trailer.

I imagine the action figure is marked "adult" because in the U.S., toys for children aren't supposed to have tiny parts than can be swallowed. Thus, if you make things with such tiny parts, you explicitly (as in "Write it on the box.") market them to adults.

The action figure is in a replica box, which is made of hard plastic and not designed to be opened. It is adult because it is not intended to be used as a toy. The idea is you hang the replica box with the figure in it as if you were displaying a collectable figure in box.

It's a very common thing in both the Marvel and DC comics universe that the Children of Supervillians don't follow their parents and become heroes, their are exceptions like Alex Wilder from the Runaways comics or Cindy Burhman from the Stargirl comics but in general if a Villain has kids they are Heroes.

The villain in the Black Widow trailer is Taskmaster who in the comics can copy every move he see's his opponent do just by watching their fighting and Shang-Chi's father is the Mandarin who wants to leads the Ten Rings terrorist group who were the terrorists in Iron Man and Iron Man 3. The Ten Rings are extremely powerful and the Mandarin holds them(also its the real Mandarin not the fake one from Iron Man 3)

The story of the Black Widow movie is between Civil War and Infinity War I’m pretty sure Shang Chi is one of the lesser known characters. He’s often associated with the character Iron Fist I believe, who had a bad show on Netflix 12:00 Btw, that’s the REAL Mandarin. He’s Shang Chi’s father and leader of the Ten Rings, the terrorist organization that kidnapped Tony in Iron Man 1 and Aldrich Killian used as a scapegoat in Iron Man 3

Fun Fact: in Iron Man about 4 minutes into the movie, Tony is being recorded as a hostage, take a close look at the banner in the background. Marvel based Shang-Chi after Bruce Lee so this is Kung Fu in the Marvel Universe. They changed the story and made Shang-Chi's father the Mandarin, turned the 10 Magic Rings into pretty much 10 Bracelets (so people wouldn't think Infinity Stones probably). This storyline also brings "Aliens" in the form of Dragons, arriving on Earth hundreds of years ago...who then make up the Chinese Mythology of Dragons (Think what Thor was to the Vikings). The Dragons also brought the Rings :-) The Mandarin looks to be immortal since he wields the Rings, maybe a side effect, so that's why we see battle scenes from ancient China, Dragons and Magic, I figure it will be the "Legend" part and how the Mandarin took the Rings in the distant past. So yeah, Shang-Chi was trained to be a master of Kung Fu from childhood, was supposed to take over his father's Evil empire, but refused. In the comics Shang-Chi has fought along side many Heroes, and completely relies on his training, no mutant powers, minimal weapons.

In addition to that, it's another way to charge collectors more money for cheaply made products. According to the Marvel Super Hero RPG, Shang Chi is the closest match to Captain America or Black Panther in combat skills and performance, but not thanks to a super-soldier serum or magic plant but through martial arts! He's better than Daredevil, Iron Fist or Black Widow, and has bested heroes like Wolverine.

So there is a bunch of new Marvel tv shows coming after Loki. One with War Machine Rhodey called Armor Wars, Moon Knight, She Hulk and Bruce Banner is in it cause she is Bruce’s cousin, Ms. Marvel the first Muslim super hero who will be in Captain Marvel 2. Wandas tv show and Loki open up for the new Dr Strange movie cause of the multiverse Wanda is in new Dr Strange 2 as well. Spider Man 3, Eternals, Shang Chi all coming soon and now that Disney bought Fox Studios the new Marvel Fantastic 4 movie. All which become Avengers later. Also with Disney Fox together characters from the X-Men, Wolverine, Deadpool can finally enter the Marvel universe. The WandaVision episode with Pietro was the Quicksilver from X-Men. Both of them are Magneto’s children. That’s why Wanda can finally be called the Scarlet Witch. Many comic fans like me have been waiting for that.
