Imo. Ultimate venom felt better to play with. I loved the jumping in Ultimate. Personally i think web of shadows although off topic a little bit had a better symbiote Spider-Man especially when it came to combat. I enjoyed Marvel's Spider-Man 2 but..... it fell short for me.

Agreed, I love marvels avengers game to death ( I'm basically a fan boy ) but even I have to admit that web swinging for spider man was terrible, it was like the ps1 spider man swinging bro was barely swinging he was really just moving forward.

I like the black suit abilities in SM2, but i wish we could throw Cars like in wos, it would been hella entertaining. And also that Venom could pick and throw these jeeps from the Hunters in the Venom level of SM2.

Did you forget you can climb buildings with your claws as Ultimate Venom? And perform back-breaker finishers among other things? Plus, depending on how long you hold the button, Venom will jump even higher and farther. Seems like you missed the opportunity to showcase a lot of Venom's abilities. 😬 I feel it would've been a good idea to re-familiarize yourself with the game before fully showcasing and comparing it against Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I think viewers of this video might think Ultimate Venom is a bit over-simplified.

I think the only reason he did this is because Marvel Spider-Man 2 Venom is supposed to be a one time play opinion which is why he doesn’t have much moves or abilities, I think he simplified Ultimate Spider-Man Venom to even it out since Venom in that game was a playable focus for the game

Had to write a comment after you were talking about Venom not being able to climb certain buildings because he's glitched in but even the two main characters have the same issue. Lastly, $70 and we still can't climb around corners, wall fight or wall run in any direction or a true physics system.

Honestly I’m disappointed that the only way to turn into the symbiote suit is just select it from the suit menu or for a short time do the surge mode. I think up on the d pad should been a quick switch button since it doesn’t do anything for Peter and it’s invisibility for miles. That’s like the perfect button they could’ve programmed it to.

I wouldn't say you fight everyone "good" in ultimate spider-man as venom. I mean, sure you can harm civilians who were innocent, but you fight other bad guys like the cops or shield. Not to mention electro and the beetle boss fights as venom.
