Ah man the sound effects and voices sound really fuzzy and compressed, I hope its just the YT video compression. The original game sounded crystal clear.

I checked the master file. It's the game. not the compression. I'm not an expert on emulation but this just seems like the ps3/360 ported over to switch and ps5.

@@shacknews hmm that would explain it. Weren't those versions the same as the ps2 version? I remember the ps2 version had compressed graphics and sound compared to the arcade and dreamcast. I remember being disappointed with it after having played the dreamcast version prior, which was arcade perfect.

Really not loving how blurry and filtered and weird the character sprites are on the select menu, and how chunky and uneven the character sprites are once they get into the actual stage. Those are clearly some really messed up emulation rendering issues that come from whatever they're using to emulate this game. It makes MvC2 look way uglier than it's supposed to look. Could they not fix the emulation settings so they don't look so effed up?

I think people will be disappointed. I feel like this is literally just a port of the 360/ps3 Version. I don't think anything has been added or cleaned up

There's also the tilted Ranking screen, which looks wrong. Not to mention that it's using the Console music rather than the proper Arcade music, meaning that it's a Frankenstein of a port. The Dreamcast version modified to play more like the actual Arcade version.

Me and some other was say the same thing when we first see like "Why the graphics look so weird compare to the original?" and for a 2024 release they use poor emulation. I seen emulation versions on KZbin on MvC2, MvC, XvS, MvS run on 60fps 4k look WAAAY better than this lucky I already own the original PS2 and PS1 version of these games this Collection look cheaply made.☹️
