I doubt Capcom would regain the Marvel license if there weren’t also plans to make a proper MvC4 When they got the license again in 2009 and rereleased MvC2 digitally, MvC3 came shortly after When they got the license again in 2016 and digitally rereleased UMvC3, MvC:I unfortunately came shortly after Hopefully they learn from their wrongs with MvC:I and incorporate the roster, music, 3v3, art style and character models that fans love about the series

I just looked at the Amazon pre order and saw that the game drops December 31. Idk if that’s a place holder or it actually drops that day but most likely cause it drops on a Friday and most big things drop that day. But great video my brother💜

All I got to say is, thank god for X-Men ‘97! Somewhere out in the abyss, there is an alt timeline where X-Men ‘97 flops and X-Men interest never resurfaces. Edit: Also, for any skeptics, remember that comics are planned and created months in advanced. That means, this comic was already made before that Nintendo Direct even announced MvC Collection. Someone inside the industry knew what was coming.

Yeah, @otterdonnelly9959, the gameplay of MvCI is great, and I hope they carry this type of gameplay into MvC4 with both active switch and tag assist combine in 3v3, as well as increase the roster into 25 characters (or 28 or 30) per sides (Marvel side and Capcom side individually)

Mostly likely, they're priming the audience for its announcement and release. Like SNK Guest characters in SF6, prepping for CVS 3 (I hope). I'm most excited for the art direction they pursue. MVC3U still looks incredible (SF4 and 5 as well imo).

Something getting a passing mention in comic doesn't mean anything. It's not like it's been already approved and worked on for two years and this is here to generate hype for it. The freaking Collection isn't even out yet and we know it's gonna sell crazy well, but Marvel/Disney execs don't. They're gonna wait 6-12 months to see the numbers and decide if it's even worth investing further. This is just some artist/writer referencing popular things on social media (which is fitting for Deadpool).

The next MvC should be 2D. All characters of MvC2 with updated sprites, some rebalancing, and more new characters. Kinda of like smash ultimate was with the dlc after the Wii U version, more of the same but better.

MvC4, 2028. Hopefully they take a page from smash brothers and bring everyone back and have a control scheme that isn't stupid. They need to realize casuals will buy the game based on how it looks, They dont care about the other stuff. Throw in MvC1-style easy-mode and give us 6-button controls and 2 assist buttons and 3v3, and we are good.

If they ever do a MvsC4 i hope they do this things: - change the art style because for MvsC3 and MvsCI it looked bad, they were looking to dark even if they where fighting on sunny day they stil looked like they were fighting on night time. Another thing i didn't like was how unnecessary muscular some of the characters look to a point that they don't have necks (biggest offender for me is spiderman) - Bring back characters that use to be on the MvsC games, i hate that excuse that they remove them because it made no sense to them for the game like classic megaman, Jin Satome. i just want them back. - No woke BS on it, seriously woke crap is what damage the marvel brand IP, i don't want this DEI or any woke crap in it. i just simply want to play and fight as i see fit.
