the dreamcast version or ps1 version of mvc1 ? and on console version you can unlock dark sakura cyber akuma and apocalypse along with shadow on marvel vs streetfighter and mvc1 you could play as onslaught so are those cheats features still in the arcade to play as those characters ?

after looking through all the other arcade1up cabinets on offer or available, this is easily the only one ever made that I seriously want just sucks that its one of the most expensive ones on offer but for good reason because of the legendary classic arcade fighters you get with this. now if they ever end up releasing an arcade1up of the street fighter alpha series, that would easily be a number 1 must own cabinet for me some of the best fighting games ever made with the alpha trilogy.

Great and thorough review man and that cabinet looks cool! I really dig the graphics on it, they really pop! Yeah that is strange they put a SNES type game on that machine. Maybe they had extra room left and didn't have the licensing or know what else to put on it. Who knows? lol

Dude, I really love these Marvel fighting games. This cabinet is a real head turner, but the 17” screen is a real bummer. I want to get it, but I’ve been playing the same games that are included on this cabinet on my ALU cabinet with a 24” nice quality screen and it kicks ass over what I’m seeing on the A1Up cab screen. Still a super nice unit though. Thanks for the review man!

Yes there’s a wire that routes both the lit marquee and that directly to the board together. And the on and off switch for it is directly on the black strip on the right. 👍

Guess the hardware to run MvC2 was too much. That’s what they really should have headlined this cabinet with. Some may say licensing, but all the characters are basically in there as assist characters. Not selectable but still in the game.

This game was seen on a lot of bigger lcd screens, so it should play very well on this lcd with match refresh rate.i think it ran in higher 50 hertz maybe 59 but not 60.

I do not own a 1up so I don't know if wired connection is availabile but if it is USE it I don't care if you have 1GB of Wi-Fi speed nvr play games online wirelessly your asking delay/roll back issues and input drops. Nice! You will love this cab for sure, it’s amazing. They aren’t too hard to build. If it’s your first one building, expect it to take a couple hours with the riser and stool. It’s similar to building IKEA furniture. 👍

Yeah it’s held up good. But it’s pretty much just me playing it. I would recommend getting the newer Marvel vs Capcom 2 machine though over this. The controls are way better and the overall cabinet is nicer and bigger.

Thanks my man! Man that stinks with the Outrun, that cab looks awesome. Did the controls just stop working randomly or was it messed right out of the package? I hope A1UP gets this resolved for you as soon as possible my friend!

@@3rdFloorArcade The controls didn't work right out of the box. I was able to remove and reattach the ribbon cable and get it working for about a week. Yesterday it just stopped working again. I put in a ticket and Arcade1up said that they are sending me a new ribbon cable to try. I hope that's the problem and not one of the plugs that it goes into. It's really strange that the power switch works but nothing else? You think that they would test this before shipping it? It's really upsetting. It was my favorite arcade up to this point. We have seven Arcade1up machines. I'm thinking that this may be the last for us.

I have the Marvel Superhero’s cab but not a lot of space ( wife issues 😂 ) thinking about getting this and just switching out the guts of the M vs C cab for the MS guts since that ones already built and I love the MS side artwork

I might get the $300 Walmart one - are the only differences the light up marquee and stool? Sticks and buttons are the same quality correct? Also are there any difficulty settings are always stuck on “arcade hard” ?? I can’t even enjoy my Mortal Kombat machine unless playing others - the AI is crazy hard!

I think the $300 one at Walmart looks great. They all have the same sticks and buttons. There’s a slight difference in the games. The $300 one has 4 games and the MVC $500 has 5 games (Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter) . Also the $300 one doesn’t include the riser. 👍

luis hernandez - I could be wrong - but they have to have code mystics retool the rom to be able to unlock the extra characters from the rom, there needs to be adjustments made / additional programming involved - because I have it on an emulator with no way to access the dip switches - so unlocking them is impossible at this time

Yeah that Best Buy version has the light up deck. It look awesome on this cab in my opinion. With the 2 player deck like this one, the light distributes better making it a lot brighter than the 4 player deck like nba jam. Big fan of this feature on this one!

If you bought it in the US, then you should have the light up deck. It's inbuilt into the control deck.

We finally got the pre order for this cab in Canada the other day. This is a really cool cabinet and gameplay looks great but I think I may skip this one where I am almost completely out of room. Plus I have bought 11 cabs already this year so I don’t want to tempt divorce haha

Geez. Finally came in today. 5 days late and 5 dollars short as they say. I actually went out and bought the xmen vs street fighter at Walmart without riser for 199.99 and no light marquee. Hey I had a 100 gift card for Walmart and couldn't find anything else lol. I love both of them. Gonna have a busy weekend building them. I can put them together next to each other and play wifi lol. Should I try the blind folded build and see what happens lol.

@@3rdFloorArcade Yes thanks. I don’t know why these arcade machines have hit my nostalgic nerve so much more then any other gaming device I have had in the past 30’years. Atari, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, nothing compares to them. Their look is awesome. I’m just glad my bonus at work is kicking in. I think I have spent over 5,000 in these arcade machines and my big buck hunger world and golden ax coming soon. Maybe I have gone off the deep-end a bit but I actually have qvc Pac-Man, qvc pac man plus, super Pac-Man, Pac-Man 40th, and Ms Pac-Man. Once the pandemic is over I’ll open my own retro arcade lol.

Good video Guy my favorite also is Marvel vs Capcom , quick question does your joystick nob gets loose when playing I find my getting loose after a couple of play. Read that putting removable lock tite on the threads will work

Thanks so much my man! The bat top on the joystick does get loose after some playing, which is very common on these Arcade1ups. I usually try and just screw them down as tight as possible and it usually is good for a while. 👍

If you have the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Arcade1up cabinet, then you don't need the Marvel vs. Capcom 1 Arcade1up cabinet.

@@patrickryan256 it’s a tough decision. They are both great options. The MVC costs a little bit more money but you get the stool and light up deck. I personally would go with MVC but I really love them both 👍
