He was!!!! My younger days as a boxing fan l knew Marvin Hagler was destined for Greatness. Two years before he fought for the middleweight title I read an article from Big Book of Boxing that declared he was the Uncrowned Middleweight Champion. Carlos Monzon walked away. Rodrigo Valdez and Bennie Briscoe fought. But Marvin Hagler was avoided. I've followed. R.I.P.....A Real Champion you were. Love 💞 for your family. They had you.

I say the same thing. No one was as dedicated, motivated, driven, fearless, and down right ruthless in that ring as much as hagler was. Marvin always stayed focused and in great shape for all and every of his fights. Rip legend

He was never knocked out in 67 fights. U could argue he was undefeated... with an 84% knockout rate

He was fantastic...fantastically Marvelous...! Hagler is a legend. He's one of my favorite boxers of all time who displayed amazing skill & conditioning. I believe that he won vs Sugar Ray. You have to definitively beat the champion...that wasn't done. Sugar did some flashy moves at the end of the late bells that did no damage...but he was constantly being chased down all over that ring...lol. I believe corruption had something to do with it as winning a split decision against the champion should have seen Haggler in some trouble. He really wasn't as he was the aggressor throughout their bout. HOO-YAH & God Bless Haggler's Soul and Memory.

Wow I got chills watching this tribute. As I said before Marvelous Marvin Hagler was and still is the best middleweight in boxing history. I grew up watching him boxing I cannot believe he’s no longer here. I was always his fan he’ll be missed. God bless his family. RIP my friend 🙏

The man was a beast just relentlessly chased his opponents round the ring until he won. To me sugar ray never won that fight. How can you take somebody’s title by running away. A bad decision
