This animation is so beautiful! The story was incredibly heartwarming, especially at the end! This was possibly made after the war, which makes this very heartwarming. The way the family cat adopted an orphan kitten was very beautiful and very meaningful at the time considering what Japan was going through. Lovely movie! It really shows that even in the darkest situations, there will always be people helping and caring for others.
