I 100 % agree. Aside from the joker hes one of my top 5 absolute favorite batman villains and not portrayed nearly as much as he should. They could do so much if they chose to give him his own tv Show or movie which i unfortunately dont think will happen.

Scarecrow is really incredible especially when handled properly. I love that what makes Scarecrow one of the greatest Batman villains of all time is that they both utilize fear as a weapon so that they may never again experience the fear they felt when they were at their most vulnerable. My favourite depiction of the character outside the comics is from The New Batman Adventures where he was voiced by Jeffrey Combs and was redesigned to look more like the undead corpse of a western preacher with a noose around his neck. That redesign was one of the best designs in all of Batman the Animated Series.

I know this is a tired take but I thought he was great for Batman Begins. I wish he would of had a little more screen time. Definitely in my top 10 of Batman's Rogues Gallery. And that's high praise considering there's well over 200 characters on that list lol.

Fun fact: Scarecrow met Doctor Destiny in Arkham Asylum in The Sandman comics. Before John Dee escaped Arkham he encountered Jonathan Crane and they had brief conversation, Dee revealed his plan to drive the whole world mad,in response Crane assured him that every inmate eventually returns to Arkham. Long story short Morpheus brought Doctor Destiny back in Arkham, Scarecrow then welcomes Doctor Destiny home and then he complains to Morpheus about their terrible sleeping condition. Morpheus then grants all inmates a peaceful summer.

I'd like to see a Rated R, very dark horror based Batman movie honestly, but of course, not told from based on the villain as so many older Batman movies are, the focus remaining on Batman, -with a good Robin and possibly Barbara Gordon as an Oracle or Batgirl.

Having Scarecrow lead off (with Falcone and Ras) was a unique and great choice for the Nolan franchise. I'm a huge Joker fan, but I remember thinking how unique a choice it was. I don't like it when the archnemesis starts off the franchises.

He is my absolutely favorite Batman villain. He honestly could’ve been (if not and my opinion)the main Batman villain for several reasons. One:he can bring Batman to utter fear with his fear toxin on many levels while Batman can resist this scarecrow can figure out his fear If he ever finds out who he is He would’ve succeeding in not only for ruining Bruce life and possibly killing him but would’ve at least continued to spread fear even if another vigilante would take and honor Batman’s place 2: he literally can create many ways to spread and new types of fear for his obsession of fear 3:he is perfect for yellow lantern corp(yes I am an green lantern fan).
