I loved he man as a child. It was my favorite for a long time back in the day. I had castle Greyskull. The thing that hooked me as a youngling lost me as I got older. I love how the movie adaptation he was always he man. It's much better that way. When I got older it was like he wasn't he man, it was just a spell that allowed him to be he man for a time.

He-Man and Teela did have a son named He-Ro in the future, but the guy shown at 10.10 in the video is actually He-Man's ancestor also named He-Ro. He-Man is as powerful as he wills himself to be because his strength comes from magic not physical qualities like muscle mass, so if he needs to punch ten guys at once that's how strong he'll be, if he needs to throw a mountain that's how strong he'll be. he has no upper limits since his power comes from Grayskull which is the source of all magic in the universe, so he's a bit like Shazam! Also He-Man would defeat Superman because Superman's vulnerable to magic and he could defeat Hulk because even though the madder Hulk gets the stronger he gets but He-Man is the most powerful man in the Universe! :D

Superman isn't vulnerable to magic, but he isn't immune to it either. Superman is also as strong as he needs to be. As long as there is a yellow sun, it would be a stale mate, superman does have advantages, but they wouldn't be enough, as he man also has his own advantages. There us little difference between there strength and weakness scales, situations and placement would be a huge factor. I don't think they'd fight though.

Second Superman isn't as strong as he needs to be, it depends on which version of the comics you read, Silver Age Superman could move several planets chained together, Post-Crisis Superman could only lift a skyscraper, the point is in each case their level of power is clearly defined, Third, they have fought in the first issue of DC's Masters of the Universe comic dated July 1983.

Say what you will about the series and the fact that Kevin Smith has been finding out the hard way that yes it is entirely possible to overdo marijuana..... The series had some legitimately decent points. The whole thing of being able to transform without the sword is immediately backed up by why it is a terrible, terrible idea and why so many magic users in the setting have their powers revolve around focus items. This was also a theme with orko as I recall. Sure it's possible in moments of great stress to summon and manipulate incredible power on the fly..... But it's a chancey thing and can just as easily backfire.

At the end of DC comics "Eternity War" Adam becomes King and decides to share the power with new recruits. Well if you go by the recent animated series the answer to both questions is yes although the trick is he won't want to... As without the sword to act as regulator he's a lot less Superman and a lot more Hulk. There are quite a few discrepancies about his powers and weaknesses. He-man's powers come from Multiple sources of Unlimited Power. The Sword itself is living Sentient Unlimited Power in the form of a Sword that taps into a orb of Unlimited Power. As well as a star seed that is of Unlimited Power and then there is the vast secrets of Grayskull that are unknown. The eye of the Universe, etc... all sitting on the very foundation of all creation. He-man is a unbelievably greatly trained Warrior in hand to hand combat trained by the batman of Eternia Duncan the Man-at-arms and Teela Captain of the Royal Gaurd of Eternia. Mum-ra killed stabed Adam through the chest with the power sword, His last words turns into He-man, Kicks his @$$! Adora slits his throat with a magical weapon (only magical weapons in most canons can peirce his skin). She leaves goes pn a day long mission... he bleeds out and still survives.... she comes back Hours later and he is still alive... this Guy is hella resilient! This dude goes toe to toe with pre-crisis Superman and pulls his punches to not hurt Superman, while Superman is magically controlled by skeletor and fighting He-man with all his might! He-man Defeats injustice superman !!! Dude He-man is one of the most powerful Super Hero-Warriors in the omniverse /Multiverse not just He-man's Universe.... Castle Grayskull sits on the nexus of all realities! You're right. He-Man's power is channeled from Greyskull Castle and it could be unlimited, with Adam's will as channel to increase or decrease his strength. That's why he can trade blows with adversaries without unintentionally killing them while when He-Man has the absolute need of extra boost of strength he can lift entire buildings, hills, mountains or even provoke earthquakes with the sword or his bare hands. Superman approaches very closely to HeMan, but his moral code is not as strong as Adam's and in certain moments you can fear he might cross the line. Sentry of Marvel could be more powerful than HeMan at the beginning but he's a constant menace and has done gruesome things I need to asess more about Thor's moral code.

His strength and durability seem be weird. He can toss giants and other massive objects but needs to be saved from a very high fall speculating that it could potentially kill him and fire seems to harm his as well and he can't leap very high.

Fire can be tricky in that one of the first things fire does is eat up all the oxygen in the room. So I suspect that Adam might be more cautious around extended exposure to flames not so much because he's going to get burnt than the fact that he still needs to breathe. If I remember correctly one of his harnesses actually provides a force but I don't recall any mention of a life support system. Which, now that I think about it, would be a rather novel way of how to defeat him assuming skeletor is actually undead.... All you would need to really do is set up an invisible force field over a certain area and then simply have him burn up all of the oxygen in the enclosed bubble. He could easily pass out before he even realizes the bubble is there.... Let alone be able to break it. Of course the bad guys in that particular setting do have a tendency to brag so I can definitely see the trap backfiring that way.

HeMan can make insane jumps and leaps of several metres high, something like jumping over the roof of a building from the ground in one go. He's done it in comics, in all the cartoons. In Netflix Revolution he jumps over the roof of Castle Greyskull from the ground on other side of the pit in one go. That's like over 100 metres or more, a diagonal jump over an entire Castle!! In 200X series he's at the end of the horizon (when Skeletor is starring at him), HeMan jumps (we lose sight on him while in the air) and lands few seconds later in front of Skeletor while making the ground tremble with his jump. You could say he jumped over 300 o 400 metres distance in one go. He's resilient to fire but not immune. However, he needs to breathe even though he's got WAY more resilience on that that any normal human, like he can be hours below water. He might survive in space... for a time. But yes he's vulnerable to falls he can't fly. However he could survive a hundred metres height fall, but maybe not from the stratosphere.

I wouldn't consider anything from that show to be cannon. It was a failure and a joke. the whole point of the sword was to act has a conduit for the power. If He-man doesn't need it then it has no real purpose. And by that same logic She-ra wouldn't need her sword either.

What this video does not take into account is, that there are many different iterations of He-Man. In the first 4 Minicomics, He-Man was on a powerlevel compareable to Conan ( and there was non Prince Adam in sight at that time)while in the 2012 DC-comicrun he was able to hold his ground against beings like Superman and Darkseid. The whole Bullshit about He-Man being able to transform without the sword is Kevin Smiths bad writing...nothing more.

He-man pitch meeting was like. The villain is a living skeleton - "call him Skeletor" He rides into battle on a cat - "battle cat, next" Well when the cat is out of combat he is afraid and cringes "Cringer, very subtle duality, parents will love it" He lives in a castle, it's skull shaped and grey - "Castle Greyskull, nailed it" He has some allies, one has many faces - "Many faces, get the toy department working on him already" There's also a man who makes arms for.. - "Man-at-arms, don't overthink it kid" Theres a mage who is a floating wizzards hat - "Let's see, Floating hat you say.. Orco, We may have to kill him off though" Another enemy is this man beast "Ok... Beast man, I like it

Not exactly. Many of those elements came later. Orko, Man-E-Faces, and Cringer were not in the first series of toys when it launched in 1982. Orko was created for the 1983 animated series. Part of the beauty of Masters of the Universe lies in its simplicity. The names immediately tell what a character is and what they can do. It's perfect for the target audience of young children.
