Yes and no. Parasite keeps his sense of self even after absorbing others power's and memories. Where as Rogue may lose the powers but can lose her sense of self. Which causes numerous other problems for Rogue and everyone around her. Which is probably why Parasite is one of the most potentially deadliest villains in all of DC.

Damage had too much energy for Parasite to handle...also in a more recent animated iteration, he turned into a Kaiju and Superman had to team up with Lobo. (e.g. he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it)

He's definitely one of the deadliest villains but only if he absorbs any form of abilities or power's. But besides that, he is physically weak. He's easily defeated by using distance based attack's. But if he absorbs anything that stops distance or resist distance based attack's. Then he becomes more trouble than he's worth.

while I'm unsure if he is the most powerful he easily takes the #2 spot if not #3 given his powers and the fact he can weaken those he's drain as appose to many other power mimicing characters that only match the type or copy the class of abilities that they have. meaning in the right circumstances he could be the only DC character to beat Doomsday without any additional aid on repeated clashes or triggering his adaptive qualities
