This is what the young British singer said after making the finals of America's Got Talent.
Courtney wowed judges, the audience and the viewers with her amazing and unique vocals, and of course her signature dance moves. She was favourite to win AGT, a year after making the finals on The Voice Kids UK. Not bad for someone who was only 13 years old at the time!

@Austin Mvula I've always wanted to sing and be in show biz --- and yes I did get to be in bands and in one incredible show for 2yrs here in Boston, I had to go to a acting teacher for that because it was an audition. I was luck enough to have friends that I got to sing in bands. That teacher whom I just loved and miss her so, told me after hearing me sing said, "oh yes, you've got a good voice, though after a few you'll be boring" and it was her professional opinion and of course she was correct - as that young girl pretending to sing into her hairbrush or whatever I used and imagine and audience turned into a very suppressed singer, so this is to say now at 74yrs of age, yup, I have tears in my eyes and love Courtney from AGT - her freedom and being authentic represents still what I imagined though couldn't bring out, my authentic self. 🎶Love love her to pieces.🎶
