I'm sure you kno how incredible your son is, I'm a grown woman in my 30s who doesnt own a truck nor truck camp I have but don't regularly, and I wouldn't say I'm a big outdoorsy gal but I'm also very far from a girly girl shopping loving always has make up and the best clothes on either but from the very first truck camping video I watched two weeks ago ish?? As a guy who spent years over seas watching videos of people truck camping and using that to escape, my wife and I made the decision to full time in a tiny camper with a golden and a toddler full time I respect your parents decision to understand there limitations but still wanting to get out there. I loved going camping as a kid,tents the old canvas mildew smelling thing, but we only went camping in it twice when we moved to Alaska, my mother wanted a bed under her so we moved to the camper,6 people and company in a camper that slept 4. We had 8 people onle night,the tents they brought got drenched in Whitter. Then folks bought a huge travel trailer, it wasn't fun anymore. My brothers and I slept in back of pick up, more like camping,not 4 star hotel. And always the best part,we learned to fish! I'm still the best fisherman in the family. Most of the family has passed,but the memories last forever, I'd give anything to have one video of yesteryear. So my prayers got answered, my brother found an old reel to reel of the entire family camping in 1960, our green tent and my grandma sleeping on the ground,with just a wool blanket over her. Her white hair going everwhere , and old metal folding chairs. I'm sure my grandmother was in misery,it was so cold, we camped at Mt.Rainer cold windy but beautiful. With strings of rainbow trout my brother and uncles caught. What an awesome memory, you will someday go through all the stuff you edited out and that you will watch over and over with your own family someday! This was best yet Mav. Thank you

hey mav, in between your camper window and truck window, try using a mountain bike inner tube as a boot to keep wind rain and bugs out. also in the winter it's good to keep the window open so the truck heater can warm up some of the camper while you're driving. just a thought.. keep on trucking
