I remember women used to put on a posh 'telephone' voice in the 1970's if talking to someone they didnt know and wanted to demonstrate their superiority. I can't watch Judith Chalmers without remembering what Sean Connery said about his encounter with her - who'd have thought ?!

I like to add strawberry jelly and sponge fingers to mine so it becomes a sort of chicken trifle.

These old cookery shows are always so bizarrely chaotic and unrehearsed

They were recorded quickly and with a small budget. One take to save money.

What sort of orange juice in a can? Was it a sparkling orange juice or a plain orange juice?
@szde
@szde 9 ай бұрын
Canned orange juice concentrate. Like Minute Maid in the US. You can't get it in the UK now

I remember it very well. My Mum refused to buy it though. But we had Treetop. Remember that?

Who else remembers the days when we could only buy orange juice in concentrate cans? As for the recipe...truly awful

Okay so wipes the raw chicken side with cloth, then flips the board to the clean side and wipes that side with the same cloth 🤔
