This is from the 1989 tour where she had TONS of special guests including Nelly, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Timberlake, Fetty Wap, Mick Jagger, Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez.. and that’s just what I can remember off the top of my head. Oh also Kobe Bryant surprised her on stage at the staples center and she’s remained in touch with his family. They were at one of her eras shows and she went over to his daughter to have her her hat and a huge hug. It was so sweet.

Someone once said that when Taylor is a guest on another artist's performance, she makes it all about them and never tries to steal the show. Likewise, when she brings guest performers to her shows, she makes it ALL about them. In her 1999 World Tour, she talks about all the effort and care she puts into making sure her guests have to everything they want and need to have a great time. It is just so awesome to see that level of humility for someone who has been as big as she is for as long as she has. It's why other artists like Beyonce and Nicki Minaj have such beautiful and supportive relationships with her.

And Mary Js music has done the exact same things for me and millions of other women. Watching them share a stage, is very special. Taylor just loves music. She is super supportive of other artists. When you see her at awards show, she is typically dancing and singing along with the performers on stage. Check out Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs from this year's Grammy Awards. There are only 3 or 4 people standing during that performance. Taylor is one of them. I don't know if she knows Tracy personally, but I know she knows every word to that song, just like she knows every word to Mary J Blige's songs.

One thing I always focus one especially for this song Taylor doesn’t try to out preform Mary or anything she’s barely even singing in this song she is letting Mary shine in the song and when Taylor does sing she doesn’t try to out do it or anything she is bringing it back some and I feel like most performers wouldn’t be like that most of the time they would be like I’m singing most of the song since it’s my concert or whatever I always notice that about her performances with special guest on their own song

When you get a bit more familiar with the different eras, you'll be able to tell the timeframe from her hairstyle; and the onstage costumes. This was the 1989 tour, in 2015. She cut her hair short for the first time during this era of shifting genre to pop. The arena (stadium?) is the Staples one, in LA. She had multiple guests there, I think it was 3 nights? Jennifer Lopez, and Selena Gomez were also guests in LA; she had a guest at every city. A channel called Taylor Swift Tour Extras tries to get video of all the guests. Since her sold out shows there set some kind of attendance record, they had a sign put up for her at the stadium. The local sports people started playing badly (dunno if it was hockey or basketball, lol) , and they took it down claiming it was cursed. Should be a video of Kobe Bryant presenting it to her somewhere.

Oh I've always loved Mary J Blige. I used to turn her up in my car with the windows rolled fully up (because I sound like a cat being strangled when I sing lol). Taylor I think actually does have a lot in common with her. Not her voice. FOR SURE not suggesting she can hit the same notes and runs. But she does write and sing about her experiences. And people make fun of it for often being experiences about relationships. Screw those people. People's experiences are theirs. And I probably have more in actual common with Taylor's experiences than Mary J Blige's but I love both because you can FEEEEELLLL both. You can feel that they feel their songs. You can feel that they have LIVED their songs.
