When Taylor just has a guitar or a piano she goes off. I love her stage performances but when she is acoustic its just hit different. I think thats what makes her an artist. She is always bringing you something special no matter the set up. I just love the raw emotion you see in her when she is just with her instrument and voice.

Her mixed voice has improved SO MUCH over the years. In some of her earlier performances, you can SEE the stress in her body when she’d approach her chest/head changeover. I’m not judging-puberty is a b¡tch on the voice and she went through it with the world listening, plus an ED that didn’t leave her the energy to fully support her notes-just commending the persistence and work ethic in training her voice to be what it is today. I hope young people who want to sing see how much she’s grown and understand nobody is born Eras Tour Taylor Swift-even Taylor Swift. Hard work and good training goes a long way!

@@EricAriel5 And that’s a good lesson for young singers, too! Everyone has circumstances they get nervous in. Even Taylor Swift has gotten stage fright, so nobody should be too hard on themselves for it. It’s something that can be worked on and usually overcome, or at least improved. 😊

I think this and Don't Blame Me are some of her best. But we also need to remember that one specific performance on 1989 World Tour with Wiz Khalifa - See You Again. On the last chorus she goes absolutely insane with that belting note and emotion in her voice. Way better that the original for me (no hate to Charlie Puth, he's an incredible vocalist, but Taylor made that song better). I also don't see a lot of fans and people appreciating her vocals on Speak Now. In Taylor's Version she has improved so much and these big notes in the bridges of Dear John, Haunted, The Story Of Us, etc. are incredibly good!!

This was a Lover album concert in fall 2019; sort of a warmup to her Loverfest tour that got cancelled. Audience was just 3000 in a historic old French theater in Paris. It was up on Disney+ in March 2020 after covid lockdowns started; in April she started working with Aaron Dessner on what would be folklore. They released it in July without announcements or promo; because she needed something to do. The Long Pond Studio Sessions film was done in Sep 2020; then she dropped Evermore in December. She is a total workaholic.

Ok Please seriously go react to Taylor Swift, Grammy Museum performance she’s acoustic one electric guitar and just her on the piano and you can hone in on how good she sounds. Plus she explains why she wrote every song it’s four songs Blank Space it’s hilarious the story that she talks about and how she got to that songwriting point of view, how to get the girl Out of the woods and wildest dreams on the electric guitar and that’s just her on the Grammy museum stage in front of Grammy members so it’s very small and it’s Fanfuckingtastic! This one would be right up your alley because you can hear every single note every time she goes up or down or squeaks it’s fantastic

Every performance from this Paris Live concert, in my opinion, matches this track in vocal quality. And this was early 2020, if I remember correctly. From the same concert: Death By A Thousand Cuts is also just her and her guitar. Daylight is her on a piano with her backing singers (the Starlights who have been with her almost her entire career) and the band live very gently in the back. For some reason, many fans didn't love Lover. I don't know why. I am fully in love with the entire album. I think you would LOVE to hear a few tracks she does from Lover on the BBC Live Lounge Studio Sessions. Her vocals there are excellent as well. I am a vocalist too (studied music, piano, voice most of my life and been singing in internationally competitive choirs since I was young). What soooo many people take for granted is her technical ability. Her alto range is rich and really where her voice is best at this time in her life, but her higher range and falsetto is still very good. Her articulation and phrasing is excellent. She can do runs and staccato equally well. And honestly, her breath work is on the level of most professional choral singers I've had the pleasure of singing with. And her ability to play both guitar or piano and maintain her rhythm and pace flawlessly for the vast majority of her performances is an incredible skill that far too many ordinary people don't understand or appreciate. Just because she doesn't have the classical diva vocals doesn't mean she isn't a good vocalist. Also, I don't think there is anyone else in the industry that sounds like she does. Her voice really is unique to her, which in and of itself isn't an easy thing to do. So happy you are getting around to doing some of the stripped down acoustic performances. They really are my favourite from her 😊

There is just something different when she does an acoustic performance the main thing I always talk about when going to the Eras tour was the acoustic set part of the show which is also the surprise song of the show she does two songs the first on guitar which for me was Out Of The Woods and I will never shut up about it and the second on the piano which for me was the song Fifteen which was about her and her friend Abigail going thru high school together and that song was a big part of my childhood and I almost cried during it and will never shut up about it either
