Mary Karr | The Art of Memoir

I love how Mary Karr said "us" or "our people" when referring to African Americans. She mentioned books like Black Boy and Black Like Me of all books. She is amazing writer. Karr wrote three New York Times best selling memoirs and a few books of poetry. I am a memoirist and a poet myself. I am a blogger and I write for children too.
