My thoughts on the Mary & May Tranexamic Acid & Glutathione Eye Cream.
My skin: Dry; Dehydrated; Redness; Dull; Sensitised; Mature (40+).
In order to measure any skin changes over time, I do use a small ring light to compensate for shadows and/or changes from natural daylight, thereby facilitating some level of consistency between videos. As a rule, I film without wearing makeup (eyes and lips aside) so that it's my actual skin on camera.

Oh great! I just ordered and received 2x of these tubes from Stylevana I hadn’t realized they’re 30ml 1oz for an eye cream! I only tried it once. I am only 30seconds into video hope it’s not disappointing! 😞

Of course - just manage your expectations. An eye cream can't 'fix' undereye issues but it may help improve the area a little.

There must be essential oils in it? Crap I didn’t notice a scent now you mention it I probably will notice it lol

Hi Angeline, it definitely smells synthetic perfume more than of essential oils to me but I could be wrong. If you didn't notice it originally, then maybe it's very faint and I just got a particularly 'whiffy' batch. I've reverted to the Superdrug Me+ Caffeine Eye Cream instead - definitely no scent there!

Thank you so much for the fun review on this even though it was destined to be wrong for you! I always enjoy these :) You gave more than enough reasons to give it a pass 😅 I don't need strong perfume in my eyes. Well at least since it was 30ml you can use it up guilt free on any body hyperpigmentation! With that bone structure of the eyes, yea all you can do is some collagen building with something like a retinol eye cream to fill in that space between your skin and the bone. It's tough :( I looked at the ingredients and this is basically the relevant parts for discussion excluding the vehicle and everything. "--Tranexamic Acid (1,000ppm), Betaine, Glutathione (1,000ppm), Panthenol, Fragrance, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil(sea buckthorn), --" and 1000ppm is 0.1%. I don't know whether sew buckthorn oil is typically fragrant or not. And the amounts for it and fragrance should be at or under 0.1%. I'm a bit surprised to see the actives that low in the cream as well since tranexamic isn't really going to cause issue sin higher amounts. So I'm baffled as to how it's so potent☠️

Hey rawriorr bro, what a fabulous comment!! Thank you so much for taking the time to detail this - I wish I was more robust in my approach to actives but I just go with a more sensory approach and a keen optimism (i.e. if it feels nice I hope for the best!) but on this occasion it didn't work out... Oh well, skincare is like a hydra - even if you discount one product, you can be sure there are 10 others offering to replace it! 😊

Well, I couldn't use it due to the scent. I've no idea whether it works well as an eye cream but if I can't use a product due to its formulation, I can't comment on its efficacy.
