He's exhausted but like most evil people he has a strong will to survive/win which worries me. He still has a cult believing in him from hell to high water. We need a blue wave, no a tsunami! What really freaks me out is the idea that if there's any doubt, even manufactured doubt, the result could be appealed to the Supreme Court or the House who could then pronounce Trump the winner. The Republicans are working on exactly that scheme already. The only thing that might be a bulwark against that is a huge blue wave as to make it uncontestable. Spread the word.

Ya I found "Too Much and Never Enough" in a free book nook in Luther Burbank Gardens (Santa Rosa). Fascinating family in a rather horrible way, like a car accident in slow motion. Mary is so different from them I sense she's a kindred spirit to all of us seekers of the light - joyful warriors, one of Kamala's band now! I would be good buds with her if I knew her personally.

Ya so many people don't know these things! My non-political friends don't know what he's doing and saying on a regular basis, they're not political junkies laser-focused on news everyday like I am. I drive them nuts sending them videos and articles. Some have told me to cease and desist lol... But politely. I can't help it I feel we don't have much time. And Trump is non-stop, the poll numbers are exasperating. I met women who were in Auschwitz and had serial numbers tattooed on their arms. And saw the scars from the experimental surgeries Dr. Mengeles (sp?) performed on them. It's no joke! When he talks about mass deportations and "poisoning the bloodstream of America" it's not hyperbole. It's Hitlerspeak, he's channelling his inner Hitler. And with Project 2025 in the wings, a fascist blueprint for America already waiting for his victory, all bets are off. I'm sharing an article about a Trump aide gloating that under Project 2025 he will be able to use monthly period surveillance charts to police women having or seeking an abortion.. I just try to share that tidbit with as many young people as possible, also their plan for banning contraception. I recommend reading either the short version or long version of Project 2025 to see what we're possibly in for should he win. And share it!!

Mary, although I know that it is important to focus on daily news of both Donald Trump and the MAGA's daily shenanigans. I can't help but believe that we are all giving Donald Trump and the MAGAS too much of our positive energy and attention! In my opinion, energy flows where attention goes, and we don't want our positive energy and attention going to Donald (only if the positive energy turns Donald into a better person--that's a TALL order!). I would love to see more of VP Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz on your channel and all the positive things they are doing right now because we have less than 35 days until November 5th to vote. Therefore, in my opinion, we cannot afford to be fearful of the outcome of this election. Our positive energy should be focused on the Democrats winning. I am a spiritual (not a religious) person who believes that if humanity collectively meditates and says daily simple affirmations to the universe of the type of world we want to see or even visualize it, then you will be surprised what happens. In my opinion, we need to collectively state: "Universe, we want love, and peace without division" or say, "Kamala Harris will be our next President of the United States of America". I have this fleeting and weird thought sometimes that the oligarchs installed Vance on Trump's ticket because they saw how Trump was unravelling and deteriorating every day and they thought Vance was a "Normie" and sane (well, compared to Trump maybe but he's just as crazy and evil) so they're ready to pull Trump out of the line up at any time so someone with a supposed thinking brain can take over Project 2025. Just a thought. Probably not because the base will take no substitutes for that deteriorating old man. If he died the GOP would probably prop his corpse up on stage. Donald Trump is not going to win the election. What I'm looking forward to is the chase. Donald Trump is not going calmly, he will run. Knowing he's behind bars doesn't interest me at all. However, the chase hasn't even begun. We need to keep an eye on Trump and Speaker Johnson. Also Republican state legislatures. .Their plan is to claim election fraud... Again! That's why Johnson tried to pass the SAVE Act forbidding illegals to vote (they're already banned from voting and there's literally 0 voter fraud of that kind). That won't stop them from attempting a coup again. Then it's a hop, skip and a jump to the Supreme Court, Trump's handpicked Justices, who can elect a president like they did in Bush v. Gore. The rightwing majority on Court may be just waiting to r the opportunity to get their man back in by fair means or foul (foul in this case). Or the result is contested and gets thrown back to the House who declares the winner, since they have a majority over Democrats. See why it's so important to vote down-ballot blue all the way! Let's be vigilant and spread the word!

The saddest part of the climate debate, is that most people believe that switching to clean alternatives would be costly and job killing. In fact, the exact opposite is true. High oil tax, plus instant rebates for all citizens, would create the greatest economic boom in world history without hurting consumers in the least. 1994 Northridge Earthquake was the same thing. It was days until we had water and power, and even after water was restored, we had to boil or use bottled for years because of continuous aftershocks. Aside from three gallons (1 per person in our family at that time), for 3 days, I don't recall any agency securing or paying for water for us. The people in the US and the US government are always the first to help the rest of the world. Why the heck don't any other countries or the people of the world reciprocate? Katrina and Puerto Rico are other examples of many we could provide. Step UP! Sure FEMA was in the area quickly to start providing funds, but that didn't provide water, food, the ability to cook or hygiene. Housing and hotels were decimated and scarce for years and years. Sadly FL, GA, SC, NC, TN...are all in for similar. They're called natural disasters, national disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, whatnot. But they're never called financial disasters which they are that on top of the physical losses and rebuilding.

At the beginning of the show shoplifting was mentioned. As a Californian I can attest that shoplifting is a big problem, not only are their individuals taking advantage of weak laws but there are large organized rings. I’ve twice witnessed individuals walking boldly out of a store with a cart filled with items and the security unable to do anything to stop them. Items are then resold online from what I’ve been told by police. It has caused multiple small businesses in my town to close as a direct result of repeated losses due to shoplifting. Let’s not minimize its impact. Unfortunately, Donald’s rhetoric appeals to those people that feel gaslit when it comes to matters that the left has not addressed.

Not too long ago the police found that the boss of a theft ring was a blond haired middle aged white woman who preyed on young people who were extremely less fortunate than she and I’m sure she’s not the only one. It didn’t matter if they went to jail because there’s always more poor young people who’ll choose risk over poverty.

Entire mountain towns and communities have been washed completely away in NC! There has been no access to major areas because roads and bridges have been washed away by the raging torrents. What is 45 planning to do? Toss paper towels to people stranded on rooftops? There was no way to plan for or prevent the catastrophic damage that occurred. People forget that Hurricane Camille also killed people in the mountains of Virginia because of the flooding caused by her rain. Also, how can you say “the government failed?” Do you mean the state or the feds? FEMA was ready and is doing the best they can. Weather Channel was warning about the rain and possible flooding that would be coming from the storm (I’m a weather channel junkie and was watching their coverage). So I object to the claim the government failed.

@wajahatali I really appreciate your point that Tim Walz is an example of manhood that contrasts with the controlling, dismissive, misogynistic, narcissistic examples that have reared their ugly heads in this election. My dad and uncle were both very intelligent and loving people who took care of their families. They gave love and emotional support as they were able, and of course made a few mistakes along the way. They were raised to be alpha-males, but they also worked out their Christian faith and lived as best they could. I believe there are many men in the country who want to protect their children and wives, and be the best family men they can be. I am so glad that Jimmy Carter’s example of honesty and humility is appreciated and praised!! I'm always torn on the argument of, "Why have this or that person on your show." I think folks NEED to see this craziness. We need conservative people on the liberal networks. We need the liberal people on the conservatives networks. It's the only way to break the echo chamber. Remember when news was just news with no aggrandizing one side or the other?

I plant flower seeds in all my gardens every June here in IN but we had multiple 90 degree days in June and my seeds went dormant I got one lonely sunflower in one garden, my tomatoes were small and my neighbors said theirs didn’t do well at all, our peaches dried up on the tree, it’s not just going to mean higher prices some things won’t grow at all climate change is here
