I was traumatized growing up because my father was also a malignant (at times violently so) narcissist. I think it's critically important to understand that people like my father and Trump exist... that they are what happens when a child has a particular kind of childhood (abused themselves by domineering, mentally ill fathers) followed by a developmental path as an adult in which the brokenness is never acknowledged and therefore psychological treatment is never begun. My father lived in his own, hate and victimhood-filled reality until he died. I'm sure Donald will too. But the main point here is... We Should Never Let People Like This Become Leaders... and the mainstream news should commit to reporting on the psychological health of ALL political candidates going forward. Had that happened in 2015 with Trump, the United States would be a much healthier and safer place than it is today!

You will never move on until he loses the race. Until then he will keep doing horrible things to keep the focus on him and the media would be negligent if they did not show the American people what an unhinged man he is.

Dr. Mary Trump said what I was thinking-her uncle hasn't evolved at all. He's stuck in such backwards thinking & a hate-filled personality that draws from decades ago prejudices and bigotry. He's a narcissist that was groomed by his daddy to be a "killer" & favoured as the "golden child" while his siblings were basically pushed aside to accommodate Donald. Mary has survived and shown resilience in the face of adversity from her extremely broken family & i wish a beautiful future for her. Looking forward to her new book.

I think most people's hatefulness can be traced back to terrible childhoods, whether the person realizes it or not. A person had to have been (at a minimum) mentally or emotionally scarred by somebody they loved or trusted to display some of the hate that we see from people nowadays.

So if his Dad was a sociopath, we need to accept that is behavior certainly looks like Trump has no conscience and that is a fact that needs to be addressed by everyone in poliitics. His Dad used him just like the extreme Maga Republican have used him to say out loud what they want which is just as cruel as what he says he wants. He wants a life where no one says no to him. Putin is his hero, because no one says to him, but look at the people who live in Russia and North Korea. That is not the way we want our lives to go whether we are rich or poor.

It's a good idea on your part, to show footage of Trump when he was much younger. Not only does he have the vibe of a spoiled rich kid in those pictures, but he WAS really good looking; and he's NOT now. It puts on display how old he really is, when the footage shows young Trump, old Trump, back to back or side by side. 🇨🇦

It could be both, but the trouble is other people are hurt cruely on a regular basis. He threatens people all the time. He hates really every person in America for one reason or another. The j6 hearings made it very clear that he was willing to hurt anyone who did not agree with him or not do his crimes. He has terrozed numberous people, and those are just the people we know about, but that gives you a window into what he will do in the future with anyone who does not agree with him or do his crimes. That is why he is a domestic terorist. We feel it. He gives up nightmares at night about the future of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His behavior can not be defended. He is unfit for anything but jail or a mental insitution.
