I wish we, Slavic people were so in tune with our internal (and external) Divinity, but sadly all we have today are guesses and reconstructions of how ancient pagan Slavs *might* have lived their lives... So sad, so much history of our own beautiful roots forgotten and abandoned. Please, people of India, be grateful for Your old ways still blooming and growing as vibrant as it was centuries ago. NEVER let it be forgotten 💖 Love and support from Poland 🇵🇱😍

Magnificent, how fortunate for this World, Westerners even, to view and hear this beautiful Classical dance and Prayer, which most likely would only be seen in Palaces, or on very Holy occasions, in holy places..

This is Soo sacred and has so much deep meaning that the viewer would dream of knowing. I love how she kept the rythem of the drum in her movements and of course the scenery and herself. I'm so intrigued by this. I also love how she ended her dance the way she started.

Maryam, thank you for this deeply moving performance. As a kid when I first learned this sequence, I felt reverent and cleansed somehow. Namaste to your Guru 🙏✨You are a credit to him. We are connected in a small way since I’m relearning Odissi from his daughter-in-law.

We’re not in the least two dimensional. Spend some time exploring Western culture and you’ll find marvels. You just won’t find them in modern western entertainment or media. We’re not without our own rich culture-we’re just doing a really good job of ignoring and forgetting it.
