Android OS offers you a bunch of customizations to it's software and has more features to offer. iOS is a more minimalistic software with more secured and a bunch of apps that we can download like editing apps, etc. Still I love both of them

from a teacher's perspective nmn, I started using apple during the prime of Iphone4s. User friendly ang apple kaso when it comes to versatility doon ako nakukulngan. like ung apple to apple lang ang sharing, prng useless din ang bluetooth, then kailngan ng itunes pra mgsync pa ng music na dinownload. So nung nasira ung 4s ko i tried Samsung android. nagstart ako sa S3, tas nag S5, at nag S7. I must say mas ngustuhan ko ung android kasi ang flexible nya like i can save my powerpoints, word documents, excel sa phone. then pwede syang ishare to any device with bluetooth, pwede din iproject sa LCD projector sa klase, and you can easily download files, save and arrange sa my files folder. (I remember in my master's class, ung prof namin ngbgay ng exam by phone sharing, it so happened 2 samen naka iphone, hindi sila napasahan nung exam ksi ang hirap ipair nung apple sa android phones).

I have both. Been an android user since Gingerbread era, I can say na somewhat na maximize ko na yung android from entry level to midrange to flagship, annd recently I got an ios device. Yes custimization, 3rd party apps lalo na kung ayaw mo mag bayad for an app, console simulator like ppsspp android is the way to go. But security, smoothness, simplicity ios is the way to go. Android gives you almost everything kahit di mo kailangan, while ios gives you what matters most.

Iba na ang iPhone ngayon hindi na madaling malowbat. At walang makakatalo sa smoothness ng iPhone ibang klase talaga. 3yrs old na iPhone XR ko and wala talaga kong masabi ganun na ganun padin performance niya from the first day na nagamit ko to. For me lang ha based on my personal experience, both IOS and Android ay may kanya kanya silang sariling mundo talaga, it depends talaga sa taste mo because just like in my case hindi ko kayang solo na Android lang o IOS na device ang meron ako kaya bumili ako ng 2 phone na ang isa is Android(samsung s9+) and the other is IOS(iphone7) kasi there are things kasi na meron sa Android na wala sa IOS,meron ding mga bagay sa IOS na wala sa Android gaya lang ng mga video downloaders for youtube and music, mas meron siya sa IOS although meron naman sa Android pero di ko gusto ang performance ng apps ng mga video downloaders nila. I’ve been both an Android and IOS user since 2012 and what I can say is nasa sainyo parin yan pero to give you a quick enlightenment para sa inyo para makapag decide nadin kayo, if ikaw yung person na mahilig sa designs,colors,displays,gaming and sa mga devices na convinient na gagamitin for school or office purposes na madali lang ma access such as miscrosoft etc., then go for Android talaga magaling sila diyan. If ikaw naman yung person na mahilig sa nice cameras,photoshoots,videos,editings,outsanding privacy, musics, efficient security then go for IOS diyan sila magaling. Both sides have their own pros and cons and it’s up to you to choose wisely and kung saan mas bet mo. Masasabi ko talaga na both Android and IOS are so far good and ok naman because they only have one job which is to make our lives easier pero again, nasa sa inyong personal preference parin yan. I am a previous iOS user that has now become an android user. First month pa lang may mga na-notice ako. Like sa fb, di mo makikita yung mga shares ng posts sa android. And sa canva app naman, you cannot edit the format of one particular word sa android unlike sa iOS na pwede. Lahat ng words sa text box ang na eedit sa android. Convenient in many ways yung iOS.

Pero longevity at security updates ang lamang ng iOS kumpara sa Android. 5-6 years ang suporta ng apple sa mga product nila samantalang 2 years at mahaba na ang 3 year support para sa mga android phones. At hindi lang iyan, mas maganda ang performance ng iOS kaysa sa Android. Android ay open source kaya madaling makuha ang source code nito kaya madaling ma-hack di gaya ng iOS na closed source. I’ve been an iPhone user for 5-6 years now and I’m totally happy with it. I admit I still crave an Android phone for secondary sana pero I can’t manage two phones and possibly two mobile numbers. I don’t know there’s just something with iPhones that makes you stay. iOS ecosystem is much more smooth and straightforward in my opinion. iPhone X user here.

@@Clandestine0814 Nagpapalit ako ng phone every two years, longetivity ay di issue saken. Humahawak lang ng matagal ang mga IOS i think dahil mahal nila binili ang phone. So 10k for android phone for 2 years vs. 50k IOS for 4 to 5 years? Sino ang mas cost effective?
