If you look back, almost all the films have an almost Gwen Stacy moment: Spider-Man 1: when Goblin threw MJ off the bridge. Which is how Gwen died in comics. Spider-Man 2: when Doc Ock dropped Aunt May. Spider-Man 3: where he actually saves Gwen from falling. Spiderverse: the moment when Miles also saves Spider-Gwen from falling. It’s even referenced in several Spider-Man cartoons.

For Avengers: Infinity War they edited the battle scenes to show Hulk fighting in the final battle and he wasn't there at all in the films. So they removed something, definitely. My bet is another Spider Man.

My thinking is... notice who from the villains is missing from that shot, the two who have the strongest connection to their own Parker (and the most voice-over lines directed at Pete). We know from other footage that both Goblin and Ock are at that night battle, with Octavius getting blasted off the scaffolding by Electro and Osborn flying in on his glider hooded and maskless. We may very well see a 3v3 battle without ANY extra Spideys.

If the cinema is open in your area you should definitely go see it when it releases. It will be difficult to avoid spoilers after the film is released and since this is a Sony property, it won't be going to Disney plus. Who knows how long the wait to get it on blu ray or digital download will be. You may not get to it until March and that would be sad.
