Triple CSX Meet In The Snow

On 2/22/15. Mixed freight and loaded coal train. With heavy coal drag rocketing out of St. Denis, MD with wheel slip. Plus CSX train blasts thru the middle of two others stopped beside each other.

CSX 3047 starting with coal train, chugging sound reminds me of GB&W #1 West with 4 ALCO's departing Norwood yard by 12th Ave., then switching back and forth to get more cuts, until ready by Oneida St., then rumbling uphill and passing the former Shopko store, Good Times, may GOD Bless all of you with A Very Happy New Year 2021 A.D.

Nice Job I had that CSX unit 3047 leading a CSX juice train rerouted train through Hershey,Pa on the NS Harrisburg Line when they had a derailment somewhere at that time

I once caught a two way meet over Sandusky bay bridge (only 2 tracks) in Sandusky Ohio, amazing! The bridge is a good 700 ft long. Sandusky Ohio is a must for railfaning

The trailing unit (#607) on the coal train will no doubt blow a cylinder soon. You can hear it when the motor throttles up and see the exhaust start to darken as the engine rpms increase . The rail fans farther down the line might see some flame......lol. The excessive rail squeal while pulling is a sign that you need at least 1 more locomotive in your lash up. I thought only the NS underpowered their trains. I see CSX does the same...lol. The thrill of railroading left me when they took my GP-35 from me. I was switching cars in the yard with an effin Dash 9. It assures you overtime every night. Money money money is all that matters to the big companies now.
