Masai Russell won her first global medal and it's Olympic gold in the 100mH in a time of 12.33 seconds. Jasmine Camacho-Quinn takes silver and Cyrena Samba-Mayela wins France's first medal on the track of these games.

Jasmine still holds the Olympic record 12.36. True about the time getting faster Jasmine ran 12.37 to win gold in Tokyo 2021. In Paris 2024 she ran faster 12.36 and got bronze.
