Try something new with this rich-tasting bird, Nilasing na Pato recipe. Duck is much richer, fattier and more flavourful compare to chicken. And they are a lot more tough and takes longer time to cook. But since you will be using beer in cooking this recipe, this will act as a tenderizer and plus it will add a more flavour to the meat.
INGREDIENTS :
1 whole dressed duck, cut into serving pieces
cooking oil
4 thumb size ginger, thinly sliced
6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 can beer
1/2 cup light soy sauce, adjust as needed
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 cup water, adjust more as needed
Young duck is cook and ready within an hour but old tought duck can go up ton 2 hours of slow cooking.
