Great video. Whats the reason you wouldn’t add a reverb/delay directly on to the sound in maschine? Thanks!
@FizzENT2 жыл бұрын
Nowadays you can, as most plugins have the wet/dry mix. It still can potentially affect the way your mix sounds. Also it can affect your cpu usage. Computers and software are much better at this. I prefer the classic method.

What about routing individual sounds from one group to a new bus/group. Like the mixbus you demonstrated. Would that be possible?
@FizzENT4 жыл бұрын
Yes, As long as you add a plugin on that track called mix bus

At the beginning there where you add a compressor on the drum group, and then talk about sending the group out to your summing mixer... is the group sent out post eq/compression/group-fx or are they by passed?
@FizzENT4 жыл бұрын
Yes, in this case am hearing the sound of the compression on the group outputs. I can add eq etc. When all the groups are summed across the summing mixer i bring it back into the Maschine (two track) which is then routed to the Master where i can then add minor adjustments to the over all sound. Also, to take it a step further, i can send the mix from the summing mixer to my Drawmer 1973 add more sonics and character.

Thanks Fizz. So you could easily track out all parts at the group level to a DAW and retain all your group and sound FX/dynamics and automation, leaving you with decent stems to work with?
@FizzENT4 жыл бұрын
Yep, you got it !

@@FizzENT So why do people complain about integration of Machine with a DAW? Sounds very workable. What am I missing?
@FizzENT4 жыл бұрын
@@abuwabu From what i can see Maschine is not yet an "all in one solution" meaning its not pro -tools, logic x, studio 1 Ableton and etc. It does not yet the capabilities to easily record audio tracks the way other daws. Lots of things can be done inside Maschine and its extremely user friendly. Each d.a.w has its pro's and cons but really comes down to the user and what they might be looking for. For example if you are a sampled based producer and puts on live performances with samples, Maschine might be for you. If you are a musician type producer that plays live instruments Logic might be your go to.

Salute to you, well explained. I use Maschine as well but never took the time to dive in "pause" but I'm hoping by watching your videos I will broaden my understanding of further using Maschine to improve my production workflow. So Thanks again. Also I'm hoping top gather a better understanding of using Maschine within logic.
