I know this review is a little more than 3 years old, now, but it helped me make the decision to buy a used MPC Touch recently. Thanks for the detailed and thorough review!

The very nanosecond you said, due to the wallwart plug being necessary to power the touchscreen, that this ain't meant for beatmaking on the bus, I said..."Welp, still got the 500..." #swingandamissforme

@ZeMovinPixxle9 жыл бұрын
I never owned an MPC before since I'm just getting into this. So my question would be: As someone who has only had a Launchpad, would the mpc touch be my thing, or should I look for different hardware? Also: can I load any sample into this? like, my own custom things, or original songs that I'd like to steal from?

There's nothing you can't do with the MPC studio or ren (production wise) that you can do with the MPC touch, as they're all simply controllers for exactly the same software 1.9 to date!

so between the akai mpc touch and mpc ren which is better and advanced
@cyorkgo8 жыл бұрын
Hey bro .. I use both. Cant say one is better than the other. The Touch is more advanced ONLY because of the Touch Screen which is a lot. I have been using the Touch a lot more than the Ren since I got the Touch. Both are beast and serve their purpose. The Touch is a little more portable than the Ren, which make it easier to travel with.

ever since new mark bought'em out they doped the ball. They really don't care about the American market or pro Djs and producers for that matte,r there target market is kids not real pros think about it, if your a real producer you know this stuff is toy. And what there really saying is, who cares there making money forget all you loyal customers that build the company. its time to leave akia until the get it right they need to come correct i don't know about you but I see the real.

Akia turned toy the whole daw game is toy, its not real pro midi, akai went from being number 1 to just another competitor. they made 67 million on these toys and they've lost so much quality. They still cant beat the work flow of the 2000xl the time coding or play back engine IE sound quality. It looks like akai is just living off its old rep with a bunch of euro trance Dj over teching with fake features that wont even help your production one bit. Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids akai has officially lost its pro status and is know a toy for kids. turst me I've used akia produts for over 15 years they don't make'em like they used to. download the instruction Manuel of the 2000 xl and see for your self. these are just my thoughts and experience stick to FL 11 you'll be much happier
