Awesome to FINALLY see some major coverage of MaK. Please make some more videos covering Japanese modeling companies like Wave and Hasigawa; they have a ton of really cool designs and it would be awesome if the demand was higher so importing gets cheaper.

I'm old enough to have bought a MaK kit when it was SF3D, back in the 80s and was blown away by how detailed and slick it was, with its multimedia parts (one of the first such kits - a real eye opener at the time) and amazing packaging and presentation.

I bought my first kit in 1985 from a hobby shop quite by accident. The hobby shop owner had little information about them but liked the Sc-Fi vibe. They were originally called S.F. 3D. Now I have several including resin figures and aftermarket conversion kits. I'd love to see Tested do a build or review of one of these kits!

Awesome to see MaK and the handpainting lacquer technique get more attention! Hope people look to buying the Wave and Hasegawa kits if they're interested in them.

Yeah, I really hope that MaK can get at least big enough to where stores in the US start stocking it! I don’t mind ordering from Japan but the wait is a little disheartening sometimes haha

I saw a handful of these kits for sale in a local hobby store around 8 years ago, and thought they looked amazing. I loved the alt universe they belonged to. I was told they were long out of production. But I couldn't afford them at the time. By the time I had the money, they had all been sold. Since then I had totally forgotten about them. Now to learn that there are companies making them still, and a movie in the works....amazing!

Thanks to Norm and team for another great video! I do watch them all. If I could offer a little constructive criticism for the camera op; for the detail shots, can I suggest a deeper depth of field? Seeing all the wonderful effort the artist has put in is great, love the detail shots but the focal depth is very shallow. Do you shoot with an external screen? Thanks for these guys, keep up the good work! Look forward to the next!

It's part of the universe back story. One of the warring factions in this universe is from a star system colonized by the German speaking people from Earth.

So you've turned OFF the comment section on the new video, so i'll voice my mind here. Where is Adam Savage, and why are there three ladies that I don't know, making a commercial for apple TV plus, talking about gender politics (not to mention unable to ask this on the video itself). Please accept my unsubscribe.
