On the rear of the sideskirts, I LOVE the forward angle you cut in them! When you look at it from the side of the car, it flows with the rear tire perfectly!

I know you’re not very active in the comments but have you driven high speeds yet and got a feel of how sturdy the splitter and canards are? If I wasn’t going with such elaborate fastening should I use some tie rods on the splitter to be safe? I know the canards and side raisers are 3mm but what thickness do you recommend for the splitter and skirt extensions themselves? Is 4mm sufficient? It’s the only ACM available to me

Super clean work as always, did you consider mounting the horizontal side of the long L bracket for the side skirt on the bottom of the side skirt splitter instead? to hide the aluminum bracket from being seen?

nevermind, just saw the end of your video where you explained how you are fine with some aluminum showing to break up the colors, looks good man!

What thickness did he use for the splitter and side skirt extensions do you know? 3mm feels really thin for lip and sides… and to me the caymans panels look better and sturdier

you are feeding airflow into the tire, I'm no aero dynamist but one of the flaws with the Miata is that the tires are exposed to the front of the car which causes a lot of drag your basically feeding air to a wall which will cause turbulence
@OMGBUILDS4 жыл бұрын
That will be addressed later as this car is only 50% finished
@chriscole96214 жыл бұрын
@@OMGBUILDS ah ok cool, I have a 91 mercury capri xr2 turbo which was the competitor for the miata and that's one of the reasons I like my car better then the miata is just cuz the miata is literally a bubble lol

Hey man i just love your builds! I'm just curious though since you're putting the v2 spoiler on the car are you gonna end up doing a separate wing sort of like on the cayman?
