I really enjoyed this video, Brad. I wish we were in the same country so we could swap plants. I have about 15 different Masdevallias and they are very rewarding. I pot in sphagnum also but usually use net pots to allow a bit more air circulation. When I go to larger plants I use a clay pot and add fine bark and perlite to the moss. I also use drainage in the bottom of the pots. As always, very well grown plants! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I am still an amateur in orchid growing - so pardon my ignorance. I see from your video that Masdevallia always have the three 'prongs' (referring to the blooms, of course) is that a good way to identify one?

Brad, do you know what it means when masdevallia have black spots under the leaves but not above? Is it fertilizer burn or is it fungal
