Nah you guys are getting it wrong, Mash grew up all alone with his dad in the woods. He doesnt really understand social cues and all that. He doesn't think anyone is below him and he's just dense as hell. He didn't understand those guys were using him until he saw them beating up Finn. Mash is one cold mf "You can expel me, but I'll still bury you" He does not give af! Any other MC would try another way to deal with that but Mash just gets straight to action he doesnt care about any consequences!

My first thoughts wouldn't be if he doesn't have magic, but rather if he was never properly taught to fly or if he has a spell/time block that doesn't allow him to fly or only at a specific time. In the world where non-magicians have been eradicated for a long time, no one comes up with the idea that they don't have magic, especially since they wear the mark on their face and "fly" in broom class. So, nothing with redflag😂

I think that due to the "remove all non-magic people" - it might be easier for Mash to hide his lack of magic. People of this world are simply not used to even considering that a person might not have any magic abilities. It'd be someone who has some magical blockade that forbids them from using Internet (e.g. instead of content of a web browser it's always black rectangle for them). It's such an unthinkable thing that it'd be hard for us to pick up that someone has it.
