It develops to the point that whenever he's down he thinks of going to Masha like it's the most natural thing to do. I know childhood friends can't win in this stuff but even in the story itself kuze is much more emotionally open and close to Masha then Alya even in the novels.

I dont believe theyre truly the same person, hair color changing is one thing as when i was born my hair was white, then turned blonde as a young kid, eventually darkening to a dark brown, but going from blue eyes to golden hazel eyes without some kind of eye color contacts is highly unlikely, eye color can change growing up but the change would not be that drastic, when i was young i had blue eyes, but now my eye color is would ya guess it, still blue but with hints of grey.
