Yet another set of performances which are stirring, pop to folk from the Voice Ukraine and Kondratenko videos. Since the war overshadows the music we experience, a couple of these songs, like the 2022 video, is so poignant with her dramatic phrasing... the camera capturing some angles where there is sublime beauty and touching vulnerability. And the 2020 Voice with the Ukrainian folk music was also quite memorable, sweet and moving emotionally. I hope she is able to continue her career in music as a distinctive voice that she has shown...

Ninety pounds of _power_ in this little lady, as she sings her heart out and commands a response from listeners. Even without a translation, her "ЧЕКАЮ НА ТЕБЕ" (Waiting for You) speaks to our own hearts, the lyrics acknowledging the inevitable pain brought by young lovers' wartime separation, offset by their strongest hopes for a happy reunion in the near future. Beautiful show from one of my most loved countries and of course this was very moving even if you don't understand a single word. Of course my heart also is warmed anytime I see Tina Karol. I have watched her for more years than I can remember, and expecially the tragidy in her life when the love of her life died. I know it's outside your sphere probably, but if you ever care to do a special on her career I would very much love to see it. She is just such a special personality.
