I haven’t eaten them in years. I did like the pep. pizza 🍕 one a lot. They should make a comeback by introducing one to three or so new ones such as a gluten free option, an organic vegan option, and a vegetarian. They could make their way into Whole Foods and some other healthy grocery chains. I bet they would do really well. I know if I was walking through the frozen food section and saw a organic vegan gluten free option 😯 I’d stare for a min thinking “I get to have one😃”. It would take me back. I’d definitely get some 🤩🤸‍♀️. I am certain they’d do well. They must keep the classic name and style of packaging and get a few funky clips, commercials, even a short on utube emphasis on the “Classic with today’s healthy” I feel like such a nerd right now getting all into this 🤓. I was a kid in the 90s, and my dad used to work for Chef America. He used to come home with bags of Hot Pockets. The owners back then were always super nice and generous. The company picnics were super fun. My dad retired in 2004, 2 yrs after Chef America sold the company to Nestle.

I never had a problem with hot pockets being hot around the outside and cold in the middle. The trick is to put them in the fridge the night or hours before you heat them up to allow for some defrosting time. It works just fine for me every time

Agreed. I tried them every couple years to see if they ever improved...they never did. They're advertising is vastly deceptive. The meat is basically non-existant and so is the cheese, in other words, there's a smear of something meat "colored, and a squeeze of some cheese-like, gravy-ish mystery goo in the middle, No version is any flavor is anything but a rip-off. They should be banned from tv commercial space until the commercial product resembles the real thing...a gravy pocket. The ad is insulting showing layers of pepperoni and thick, gooey cheese.

I’ve never had an issue with hot pockets being cold in the middle. The trick I use is to put the hot pocket on the edge of the plate. I heard somewhere that the middle of the microwave does not heat food as efficiently as the edges so I started nuking my food off center. I think this is why I have never had that issue

I was talking to a nestle exec recently and she told me they are using better quality ingredients in many of their frozen foods like hot pockets. Less sodium is probably a good thing as most processed food is loaded with sugar or salt. And I think they got rid of the trans fat (as did almost everyone) that was included in other 2000s/late 90s foods. Hence, they might not taste as good as before. And also our taste buds change over time. I haven’t had a hot pocket in 10 years (I used to eat them all the time). I’d be disappointed if they skimp on the filling. I wouldn’t want 90% cheese.

baking that hot pocket for 18 minutes 350° the dough will have a better taste and the whole inside Will be completely hot and won’t have cold spots only suggest this if you have the time to wait 18 minutes still I would say try it has a truly delicious taste for the end result make sure your oven gets heated evenly.

Here's a much better way to evenly heat your hot pocket. Stick it in the microwave for 5 minutes at 60-70 percent power. It varies a little based on wattage. The hot pocket comes out perfectly cooked and crispy.
