What I do is make all the patterns on 1 scene then I duplicate the scenes as many time you want the song to last but make sure u make the scenes “unique” setting. The unique allows u to cut or add instruments from the original scene but since the scene is made “unique” it doesn’t have an effect on the original scene and I add or cut according to what you want.

That’s a nice approach to it.

OH My God! This just changed everything for me!!! I make all my beats on maschine and I always HATED sequencing in maschine 2 because I would go into song view and manually input every single pattern for the entire song in linear mode - and I always have 7-8 groups so sequencing was always tedious and time consuming - I had NO IDEA that you can use that hold scene shortcut to just hit a few of your pads to designate Intro hook verse etc - that by itself just shaved at least 97% of the time it would usually take me - DDS825 THANK YOU MAN, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH OG

DDS, you're the man. I've always hated the Maschine arranger, and greatly look forward to Clips, with the next update. This video is truly eye-opening. The way you used Ideas view to flesh it out, and use the mouse to rename the Scenes to make it make a lot more sense... then pinning the Scene view, then Appending everything in order with one pad hit for each place you wanted each Scene in the arranger... flawless, man. Absolutely genius. I don't know why I didn't find this video until tonight. But I'm so glad I did. Thanks again, bro. Hey fam, I was on last night,u were killing it till like 2am on KZbin live,and I asked u about expansion packs like Crystal Daggerz,and Queensborough story,but I dloaded em on my Mac at the time. So I just switched to a HP laptop,i7 and 1 tb plus my hard drive,and I got eeem back man. I had them under a different email an password,in Native Access,so I called N.I tech support,and man the security questions are no joke,so it checked out,and they merged my 2 emails that maschine N.A was set up with. And u told me they would do that,so love fam. Also u really need to make a vid about bringing it back to the basics,maschine 101,cuz these 16 yr olds swear they produce,but can’t tell me what producing in linear style means,or what sounds make groups,and a big amount don’t even use the formula,and have no clue what GROUPS,SOUNDS,USER SAMPLES ARE! Plus they depend on a top secret VOCAL PRESET THAT MAGICALLY Mixes ur vocals down to a science. I think ur the most dedicated producer out,bar none and if u create a,”Taking it back to the basics” video,ur channel will explode. There’s a lot of new blood out there that are looking for these vids,but the creators are so cocky,they cut the video 12seconds in. Just a thought. Anyways it’s great to know u answer questions for those who are almost near ur grandness,nah but seriously,God Bless You and ur Craft,I’m a follower 4life,and PLEEZ keep dropping the vids.

It would be dope if you could Exchange Groups on the fly , in a real time situation. You would think that because everything is saved within maschine, you could go to a file on the left called groups, and drag and drop a saved group onto what you are working on, and it would seamlessly keep playing smoothly. That’s what I would want. It would be like launching clips in ableton.

been using fl studio for a long time I recently got machine studio and im completely lost I get stuck trying to make a beat in one group call me dumb but im still lost
@DDS8255 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to make the whole beat in one group. You can use separate groups for different instruments. I have a playlist that may help you on my channel, or a Maschine course that can help you. But either way you’ll understand it with time!

How do you do this arrangement on a Mikro MK3?
@DDS8255 жыл бұрын
It's probably faster to do it on the computer via Ideas mode but I'll have to do an arrangement video for doing it specifically on the mikro. You'd have to hit group and then pick the pattern you want and just repeat from scene to scene.
@EmceeGeek5 жыл бұрын
@@DDS825 thanks dawg, I got it together. I didn't even think there was a way to do it on the physical hardware. I gotta see that.

Are you able to do this with the mashing Mikro? Also could you explain why you are duplicating the pattern after creating the hook, verse etc. ?
@benliftss6 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure I answered my own question you do that to keep the keys, snare or what ever you had previously highlighted rather than creating a new scene and starting over haha nice just made me 10x more productive.
@DDS8256 жыл бұрын
Exactly! But yes you can do that with the Mikro. The buttons are just different
