The whole album was written at the time that the lead singer Hamed was suffering from some sort of addiction after he lost his dad, keep that in mind before judging, one of the beautiful aspects of this song is that its just like an abstract art painting, you can understand it in the way you want other than the obvious, depending on what state of mind you are in, stop judging please and enjoy some art, or just dont listen, dont be the bully behind a screen, sometimes a stupid comment on a youtube channel can really cause pain to someone, not only the band, it could be someone who could relate. Most of the people on this thread are asking for the song meaning, I think it's quite obvious. This song is tackling depression, addiction, and emotional pain. He is sedating a certain depression/sadness with a bottle or a pill or anything to numb the pain. Being up, or ascending is being happy and numb to pain. So it is a cycle of feeling less pain when sedated in whatever way, then coming back down to reality because he can't be high on drugs(per se) all the time. Society doesn't fully understand psychological pain, so it can't see the emotional pain, thus taking him off drugs and "bringing him down". Usage of going up to Marikh or Mars, I presume is to reflect that his happiness or temporary numbness is not real and he always comes back to reality.

Also I think the line "نسّيني إيدين بيّي لمّا أنزل"/"Make me forget my father’s hands when I fall." sheds light on the reason for his psychological pain (childhood trauma/domestic abuse).

Yes, thats exactly right. But it also tells the story of icarus, the greek myth that the name of which they actually used to title one of their songs on this same album. The myth goes that his dad made him wings of wax so he could fly but warned him not to fly too close to the sun. But guess what? he flew too close to the sun. His wings melted and he fell into the sea. If you look at the lyrics, Icarus talks of his dad, who he expects to punish him for his disobedience. And throughout the song, he keeps telling us "Im going up", or flying, and then " Im coming down", or falling. The sad melody in this song perfectly fits the story of icarus and how his desire to have the something he could never have ended up destroying him, which is a lot like someone who is suffering from depression/mental illness and attempting to reach the happiness they can never find in drug use and other self-destructive behaviours. Also, great stoner song.
