So since the first day someone plugged a keyboard into a computer, Ctrl-C has been the overwhelming universal standard for "copy" and Ctrl-D has always meant "delete" but these guys decided "Screw the world's muscle memory!" Yah, that's cool.

Having trouble with the moment at about 15:42. There is no option to "Add scenery to Building" for me. I only have split from building (grayed out just like yours) and "Save blueprint As". Third option does not exist...is there something that is supposed to be turned on in settings that I may have accidentally changed? Should I reinstall? Very frustrating as this is making it impossible to create my own reusable builds.
@maskedbandit102Ай бұрын
I wonder if you have pieces accidentally grouped to another building? I'm not 100% sure without seeing what's on your screen. However, it's not settings related nor do you need to reinstall--it's just a quirk of the builder. I wish I could provide more help but without seeing what's happening, I can only guess.
@dustinthewind8620Ай бұрын
@@maskedbandit102 Thanks for taking a moment to try and assist. You're certainly on to something. Somehow, when I build, I'm unintentionally creating multiple buildings. It's like every time I manually slide a piece instead of snapping, it creates a new building without me even realizing and then every subsequent piece is part of that new building. Once I do another manual adjustment, it creates another new building. I don't realize until I'm 100 pieces in and unintentionally have eight different buildings. But why can't I just select all with multi-select, ungroup or convert into one building? Such a headache. I'll figure it out soon enough, but there really should be an easier option to group and ungroup with multiple "buildings". Super frustrating.

@@exo-star8127 hmm, that's odd. Although, if they aren't a part of the building group, then yes, you'll have to use I. Once you confirm the selection you can make it a single, editable group, and then holding shift should work without having to press I first
