It was me. I take full credit for speaking the collab with Lana into existence. 😅 As soon as I heard Blue Over You the first time, I said Lana NEEDS to work with this kid ! I could already hear their voices blending so well together on that song. I knew it would have been magical, and I felt Mason genuinely deserved that monumental moment, and I felt Lana would have been honored to do so ! I spoke it into existence !! ✨️ 😅 I guess I also dabble in white magic 🎩 ✨️ 😅

To me, this chat couldn't have been any more perfect. I will however say that I have to disagree with one thing that Mason said. When he said near the end of the clip that you can always go back to where you came from, I could only shake my head and say, "No, you can't." It's been eighteen years now since I was last in the area that I grew up in, just south of Cincinnati, Ohio that is. I recently learned about one area that I use to pass through on my way to church when I still lived there. It doesn't look the way that it used to and so I can only assume that other parts of the area are no longer the way that I remember them. The ironic thing is that Mason will be in that very location next month on the 19th I believe it is. Covington, KY is the name of that city, and I know exactly where it is. I would love to go back up there just to see him, but sadly I do not have the ability to travel that far a distance right now. I am however happy to share the fact that I did get to see Mason for my first time earlier this year on March 22nd in Knoxville, TN and I could not have felt any more at peace when I got to meet him that day, I love him so much. (smiles)
