For a game about Reapers that also includes biotics, somehow Shepard crash landing from space and being rebuilt is the LEAST believable part of this series haha (And I say that as someone who thinks this is the best game trilogy of all time)

I offer this as a way to boost your suspension of disbelief. There is a maxim in cold-weather rescue: you're not dead until you're warm and dead. Cold temps can be remarkably preserving of tissue under the right circumstances. Paramedics and such in cold climates deal with patients who can very much seem dead but who can be brought back to life because their metabolism hasn't stopped completely, it's just slowed way down. That doesn't happen in warmer areas. So long as Cerberus, and I'm keeping this simple to avoid spoilers, got to Shepard quickly, the combination of their tech and Shepard dying in the cold makes saving her at least plausible.

@@chrisd7047 As long as your brain isn't affected. Winter is nothing compared to freezing in space. Frozen water freezes to chrystals. From this point on your brain cannot survive. No chance of revival.

Typically why I never watch streamers play character driven story games. They miss all of the dialogue because they're watching chat.

@@tskwerl Some do it well and are able to find a nice balance between paying attention to chat and still focusing on the game when it really matters. Unfortunately, Ray has not yet found that balance. It's a big part of why I unfollowed her, and a few others, on Twitch.

OK, so without spoilers: there's a crew member in a revolving chair - you can ask him after each mission about his opinion on the people, but also he has a full slowburn story if you keep asking how he's doing. BUT But you can just stand next to him. Menacingly. Just stand there. It's worth it. :D

Both the default faces are high poly fixed faces that aren't made up of the build a face mechanic. The pieces aren't available to build those faces, hence no customise.

Don't be allergic to renegade options, just saying. Everyone always just goes paragon but you miss out a lot by doing that. Also keep in mind from a role playing perspective: you are trying to save the galaxy from super beings and most people don't believe you nor want to help you. Don't have to be an angel all the time given those circumstances.

In this game, when you get dialog options you have to take them at any time, or you may just miss out on big parts of it, then why even bother playing? May as well just play Doom then, an excellent shooter!

"I am being SO MEAAAAAN!" It's a critical emergency and the commanding officer is ordering all hands to abandon ship. Now is NOT the time be questioning and debating orders. I don't think the "renegade" dialog is out of line.

yea, its a pet peeve of mine when gamers/streamers always go paragon, missing out so much from not doing renegade. It's like they forget that they have a galaxy to save lmfao

@IAmNotARobotPinkySwear I've done full Paragon and full renegade. Now I tend to "paragade" - be diplomatic here, tell someone off or even pop the top on a can of whoopass there. Paragon and Renegade aren't so much good and evil as they are heroic and ruthless. KotOR made it light and dark, one or the other. Mass Effect is more... ambiguous... I suppose.
