I dont think there should be a happy ending, it ruins the point of fighting a hopeless war. Defeating the reapers to begin with should be the best ending in my opinion. I get the ending of me3 was hard for many but it should be.

It's about post-Destroy ending and I had a great time reading this. Besides, you can read that even if you don't like the non-modded ending.

I know I'm a little late to the party but thank you for posting this video. ME is, without a doubt, in my top 3 all time game series with ME2 being my favorite game of all time. I always would chose Tali, it just felt the most genuine and natural to me. I loved her geekiness, her awkwardness when she learned Shepard felt the same way and what she was willing to go through to make it work. To me, it was the only romance that found myself rooting for because I felt like they deserved it. I usually chose the destruction ending, with the admittingly selfish reason of having the chance of getting back to her no matter what. Because of this, the ending was always the most heartbreaking. I'm 50 and have played video games since I got an Atari 2600. Nothing destroyed me like the ending of ME3 with Tali. We've all been conditioned, through video games and movies, that for the most part, the hero finds a way to win against impossible odds and gets the girl (if there is one). The ME ending left too many questions, especially with the Extended cut. It wouldn't be hard for BioWare to add something small to the remastered edition, anything to give us some closure. I would be perfectly content if they added a little clip like the ending of this video, nobody says anything but at least you know there was the happy ending Shepard and, in my case, Tali deserved. I apologise for the long winded therapy session. This video, in a good way, brought up some emotions and passion about this game that, even almost 10 years later, still linger for most of us. Thank you again

Да, очень хорошие моды. "JohnP's Alternate MEHEM" отличается от обычного мода на концовку "MEHEM" тем, что не добавляет каких-то созданных сторонними людьми реплик, которые портят атмосферу игры. Выглядит как качественная каноничная концовка. Иногда кажется, что разработчики побоялись сделать концовку такой как в видео только потому, что тогда все бы выбирали только её)

It always bugged me that the Normandy landed in the middle of the battlefield. Why not send out a shuttle? It's a smaller Target and it won't be as detrimental if it was destroyed or disabled.

Because of Normandy have reaper codes since ME 2, and reapers see Normandy as their own ship, not an enemy

This is an alternate MEHEM. The one you're referring to was the original one I believe (I prefer this one way more, it keeps original ME3 mostly intact and has a believable alternate ending. I like to think of it as the ending you get if you 100 percent the game).

I rewrote Mass Effect Legendary Edition, John Shepard, an Earthman, a participant in the battle on Akusa, acted like a hero, but a small pinch of otsupnik, In ME1 Rahni was released, Rex calmed down, they did not shoot, saved Ashley, In ME2 he rescued everyone for loyalty, Tali Zora was and remained a beloved girl, the fight on the basis of collectors passed without losses and the base is destroyed. In ME3, he saved all his friends again, cured the genophage, and reconciled the Quarians and the Geth. Military resources 8000 points. Naturally, the red ending Shepard did not want to die and leave Tali heartbroken like Mikasa. This is exactly the ending I deserve.

i cried so hard and felt like having a heart attack when i ran my first ending, not knowing it was the perfect one... from all three games.... EDIT: mine was the none modded one, i ran into the beam, believing that eddie, geths, and the rest of Cention-- beings deserve the understanding of organics. i ran, like the wind, the last sympathy playing in my ears, birds whistle while the breeze swept away my fears. I leaped not to my death but to a new beginning. even the ones that deemed me to an execution i looked straight, not teetering or wavering, onward i went, falling to the skies above the atmosphere. letting my worries go away as I will ascend to another space and time. -Commander Shepard. (Paragon) *you see guys* their is no "perfect ending" but the ideal ending is what we strived for. This man wanted the reapers done, dead, gone forever and never come back to take out organics. I chose that all Cention- beings deserve their rights, the reapers didn't have that. it was taken from them. a whole species transformed to commit genicide. I don't believe they wanted that. Making the reapers flee. no that would have taught nothing to the races that fought, thinking that it was the best way to go. My ending allowed joker to walk, let eddie become part organic, able to feel and smell and see. The path i took allowed geths to feel, tali to strive with out a mask, letting our organic race become one with the synthetic's and let them in return learn our lively hoods as organics. This was my choosing, neither destroy or curse away the loss, no, I allowed us to move forward.

Удивительно какие вы жалкие куколды, Тали не любит Шепарда, это вам создатели даже показывают, Тали обжимается с Гаррусом во первых, во вторых если у вас даже Роман с Тали, она будет флиртовать с Гаррусом по связи... а истинная любовь кроется в Лиаре, когда вы её отошьете, она не отвернётся от вас, даже сделает вам биографию для потомков, изначально она хотела даже с Шепардом детей иметь, я вас разачарую, но даже Самара уважает и любит по своему Шепарда больше чем Тали, будучи без отношений,Самара вам скажет как её тянет к вам, и то, что вы действительно особенный, Эшли тоже тянет, но не так, Эшли любит в Шепарде вояку... хочет найти себе героя солдафона по образу своего бати, она всё время к этому склоняет, если бы вы внимательно следили за персонажами, то поняли бы, поэтому я выбрал Лиару, она любит Шепарда, это видно по всем трём частям, она сама нежно с надеждой общается с вами после расставания в mass effect 3, а Тали ведёт себя как потаскушка, Тали благодарна Шепарду, но тянет её к Гаррусу, после выполнения миссий заходите чаще в инженерный отсек, послушайте разговоры с Гаррусом, столько внимания ему уделяет, так Лиара никогда не делала, и не заигрывала с экипажем игриво, даже будучи вне отношений с Шепардом.

Да, можно было бы хоть даже после оригинальной концовки без модов добавить сцену с персонажем, с которым у тебя роман. Например, если с Тали, то всегда думал о таком варианте: черный экран рассеивается, камера показывает небо Ранноха. На фоне слышен обычный эмбиент повседневной жизни (шум ветра, шелест листьев и т.д.). Камера, будучи на высоте птичьего полета, медленно опускает взгляд вниз и показывает вдали почти построенный дом и силуэты человека, работающего с инструментом и кварианки, стоящей возле дома. Плавный переход в чёрный экран. Титры. Никакой музыки или диалогов, но всего одна сцена бы определенно улучшила ситуацию.

OH. MY. WORD. While this won't fix ME3 it will make it infinitely more tolerable. On a side note, ppl like to be optimistic about ME remaster or legendary edition or watever they call it about how it could fix ME3, just a reminder, the people who work on the series, lead writer, director, the important people either left or now working on another project. The chance of them actually fixing anything besides updating visual and bug fixes are slim to none. It sound more like a cash grab after Anthem and Andromeda. The series aren't even that old and with a massive controversy about the ending, and they want to ppl to relive that? Now? That is quite a pair of balls on these people. What a fucking legend. if the theories and leaks are correct Sheppard is going to be in mass effect 4 because the destroy ending with Sheppard surviving is cannon but here's the question what will the new enemy be exactly? I mean the reapers are gone so I see it going 2 ways. 1 Someone pulls some strings and gets the aliens to go against eachother and we have to stop Him/Her or 2 a new enemy galactic Empire will be formed who plans on probably finishing what the reapers started. That's just what I think. Hopefully though Sheppard does return I don't want a new character.

JohnP's Alternate Mehem have an installer. Then, you download CEM Full x CEM Goodbye x JAM v1.5 to CEM, you also install it with an installer. After that, you download Tali Remastered, and if you don't want to install it manually, just use the version of this mod with an installer (Tali_Remastered_Installer_V1.02). It's not that hard and you don't need to deal with transferring files from one folder to another and all that

Да и сюжет масс эффект 4 наверное будет заключаться как раз в изначальном сюжете с черными дырами, и в поиске выхода из этой ситуации. Ну ладно, увидим, не за горами четвертая часть)

@@abosra2159 К слову о возвращении к идеям Карпишина. В трейлере "The Next Mass Effect" есть момент после 50-й секунды, где идет зум к туманности в виде гета. Много разных версий было высказано по поводу того, что говорится в этом неразборчивом моменте, но одно известно наверняка и в этом сходятся многие: женщина в начале говорит "Anomaly readings all across the known space" что переводится примерно как "Замечены аномалии по всей наблюдаемой вселенной". Мне это как раз и напомнило об изначальном сценарии Карпишина. Что же говорится после этой фразы - неизвестно, слова слишком неразборчивы и каждому слышится своё. Мне, например, кажется, что после этого идёт: "It is not really over, is it?" (Это ещё не конец, не так ли?). Кроме того, осмелюсь предположить что эти слова принадлежат Шепарду, голос похож, но навряд ли бы они стали так рано раскрывать такие лютые козыри.

@@adm1ralqна самом деле, все зависит от того, через сколько лет после Битвы на Земле развернутся события 4 части. Если Лиара действительно в стадии матриарха, то мне вообще не нужно возвращение Шепарда. Я не могу представить Шепарда без Гарруса, Тали и Джокера. Лучше уже дать нового героя, можно как и Шепарда сделать его из N7. Однако не надо делать опять такого неинтересного и пустого персонажа как Райдер из андромеды. Однако мне очень хотелось бы узнать, что произошло с героями после войны. Именно этого мне не хватило в конце 3 части, все слишком быстро закончилось, а не слайды, где кроганы отстраивают Тучанку. Я не ради трех слайдов без текста проходил величайшую трилогию в истории.

@@McPatMan124 In my opinion, original MEHEM is unprofessional... just use the same mod as in this video but choose and download version B. Version B skips the Catalyst conversation (like original MEHEM) and the Crucible destroys the Reapers.

If you watch the video on the “ indoctrination theory” ending.You will the see the “Catalyst” is actually Sovereign lying to Shepherd,because at one point he breaks character and tells him the they already had the illusive man under control.Sovereign tells Shepherd this to dissuade him from the destroy option.But that is fan theory only.....

If you think that the situation where geths and EDI are not dead is too good for the ending, I suggest you to read "You Came Back to Me" (if you romanced Tali ofc). It's about post-Destroy vanilla ending and I had a great time reading this. Besides, you can read that even if you don't like the non-modded ending.

The last scene with the Normandy fading into space is really good,but is different than the one in the JAM mod. Is it edited or some kind of update? I ask this becuase the last JAM update was in 2014 and it still had an ugly final scene with the Normandy flying above an ugly textured earth.

Nice fanfic, but it actually ruins the ending even further. Though I can't be too mad because Bioware decided to tease people with a possible return of Shepard. Anyone who played the trilogy knew that Shepard was meant to die in the end. It is the summary and completion of all that he is. He willingly and without hesitation will pay his life to save his people. This ending just spits in the face of all that and removes the stakes. It doesn't really improve anything. On top of that, it rips out the tributes to EDI dying in the destruction ending as well. Cause she did die. And it did not do anything to address the real issues with the ending. If you were able to achieve the synthesis ending, which I did in my first play through, then that is the better ending. But still flawed. It saves everyone and leaves the galaxy in a better place than before. Though that is a boring state from which to continue the story. Shepard should remain dead. End of story.

Idk, there are games and movies where I wish main character died for the sake of a beautiful and realistic ending, but Mass Effect came out a game in which most of the players were extremely emotionally attached to the world of the game, like in The Walking Dead ( -- > SPOILERS FOR THE WALKING DEAD -- >). Clementine, the main character, survived there, and Shepard deserved to survive too to see his love again once more. ( < -- END OF THE SPOILERS < --). Synthesis ending is kinda strange, seeing all these husks becoming self aware. Imagine what they'll think when they look at themselves
