Also by the time Mass Effect happens, less than 2% of the Galaxy's star systems has been explored because non-Relay FTL is severely limited. The Normandy can only go at 12LY per day. Regular discharge of the drive core into a gas giant's atmosphere is mandatory for every ship travelling at FTL without a Relay. If this is not done, a fatal build up of static will kill everyone on the ship and this is why travel into parts of the Galaxy without a Relay is so limited because space is fucking HUGE.

I would actually suggest buying it. Yeah the ending leaves a lot to be desired, and i thought the crucible was dumb, but; there is a lot of great dialogue and scenes and the game play is extremely smooth and one of the best i have ever seen. It is really fun and easy to pick up, but also incredibly complicated so it stays fun as you learn how to use things (like ammo-combo explosions, how/when to use grabs, well done enemy NPC's). 100% worth it if you have me1 and me2 and liked them. my opinion.

I remembered this scene after my first playthrough because I romanced Jack and in my 2nd romance Tali I made sure that I stayed and listened Now I can’t bring myself to romance anyone except Tali because priority rannoch just isn’t the same without her romance and even though Liara is the writers pet Hogging too much attention in the final romance scene I still say Tali is the best because 1. Liara doesn’t seem like love it seems like infatuation due to her being romanceable as male and female Shepard 2. Liara is way too nosy when it comes to her shadow broker skills 3. Tali takes time to get to know Shepard more 4. Unlike Liara, Tali along with Garrus stands by Shepards side no matter the circumstances

I found their excuse for not showing the Quarians to be total rubbish. If they were afraid of ruining the mystery, then there are other ways to have gone about it, for example in the footage they could have shown the Quarians in hooded robes, their faces still would not have been clear to the player because of the way the holograms looked. They could have explained that The hooded robes were a long standing tradition of the Quarians and only after their exile did they start to wear makes in addition to the robes.

Think of it as though you're *inside* your computer. The monitor is made to display the data contained within. Outside, we can clearly see the data projected from the screen, translated from the strings of 0's, 1's, other forms of code that this data exists as. If you were to try to see all of that from *inside* the computer...what do you think you'd find? Frankly, Shepard was lucky to get *any* visual processing of this form.

If Tali were romanced, Shepard should've already seen Tali's face, so maybe if the creator were a bit creative, they would make special scenes just when certain requirement were set. For example romancing tali would allow you to see the quarians face in this geth concencus mission, or other thing like romancing Jack makes the Grissom Academy scene a contrasting different experience, making gamers want to revisit the game with different style and different choice of playing.

Honestly, the fact that the quarians looked a lot like humans didn't phase me. Looking as early as mass effect 1, while the image is purple through the glass of the mask, its obvious that tali is at least vaguely human, or at least has a similar shape to humans. The part that was dumb was this part where they can't show that in geth memory (although to be honest i didnt care a whole lot, cause that wasn't the point of this scene), and the fact that the original face reveal for Tali was just a stock image they purple scaled.

Well, BioWare staff did mention out loud in interviews how every decision affects everything in the plot, and that it would have multiple endings. It was before ME3 planning though, so the change of plans can be understood. But breaking promises without any humility… that's going to anger human beings in general.

Here's a question: The quarians were evicted from their homes 300 years or so before the first game. It's stated that they only went to using suits because their already weak immune system was destroyed by living on clean, or sterile, ships. And the galactic community dates back thousands of years. So why exactly is there no data on the quarian appearance?

Yeah, and it's like... no Quarians ever created a sterile environment anywhere in the galaxy, or submitted to one for study? When so many are destitute on pilgrimage and some company would probably pay them for that, and some don't return AT ALL so just actively live somewhere? There are no Quarian selfies on the Extranet? Nobody's done a Quarian autopsy or surgery if one of them gets hurt, like, not even on the Citadel? No scumbag out in the Terminus ever just killed one to see and take pictures? The bartender Matriarch on Illium even says she remembers what they look like under the suits, but there's not even art of them to give people an impression? It doesn't make any real sense that nobody knows what Quarians look like. But then I got the impression from ME1 it's not that nobody knows or couldn't find out, just that it's rare to know what they look like NOW, because it's implied in the ME1 codex that Quarians are like... potentially cybernetic because they used to be machine freaks, to the point of being disfigured by it. Which'd be interesting, that they don't WANT people to know so that they remember them before they got themselves all screwed up. You can see a bit of that in Tali's design in ME1, her right arm is a different colour and has tubes seemingly wrapping into it, like it's ambiguously prosthetic, but that's gone by ME2 and 3.

And some people DO know because of movies like fleet and flotilla, but I’m assuming that most are questioning how they look completely unsuited. Or other curiosity like joker asking if liaras head fringes move, since it’s inconclusive on the extranet. Which also means there’s probably enough disinformation on what quarians look like, that mixed with them being second class citizens, people simply don’t believe anything written and avoid them. In terms of your cyborg theory, it’s actually mentioned in ME1 on the elevator with someone asking tali “I heard there’s a rumor that quarians are actually part synthetic under those suits” and she gives a dismissive rebuke. But in ME3 she mentioned on the geth dreadnaught that “despite all our cybernetic enhancements, I could never imagine integrating into a system so fully”. So quarians are CONFIRMED part cybernetic, and given that none of them have biotics we know it’s not just L2 implants.

The ones we saw in Legends and in the Combat Evolved: Anniversary Terminals were wearing Combat Skins, necessary when dealing with the Flood. They have been described in literature has having wildly different forms due to the Forerunner practice of "mutations" based on their rank in society. If one Forerunner were to be unmasked then it would not be a rough indication of other Forerunners. Besides, the Didact is strongly hinted to be Halo 4's main antagonist so we may see what he looks like.

I'm thinking it would be cool if they had a game about the Rachni and Rebellions except from different perspectives. e.g. At one stage you play as a Salarian/Asari who first meets the Rachni, then you switch to a Krogan fighting other Krogan on Tuchanka, then as a Salarian/Asari still fighting Rachni, then as a Krogan fighting the Rachni, then as a Krogan fighting the rest of the galaxy during Rebellions, then as a Turian fighting Krogan, etc. Kinda like a COD campaign in that sense, but better.

The Forerunners fought a decades long war against the Human/San'Shyuum (Prophet) alliance. Humanity and the San'Shyuum banded together to fight the Flood & they had found a cure however when they expanded into Forerunner space to escape the Flood, the Forerunner quarantined the San'Shyuum to their homeworld & sent Humanity back to the Stone Age. The Didact in particular HATES humans because of what they & the "Lord of the Admirals" did to his troops. Humanity "lost" the Flood cure out of spite.

Nope. The Forerunners took up the "Mantle" from the Precursors (possible origin of the Flood). Humanity/San'Shyuum encountered the Flood, fought back & developed a cure. After spreading into Forerunner space, the Forerunners declared war and delivered the killing stroke with an underpowered "local" cleansing with a Halo. San'Shyuum are quarantined on their homeworld & Humanity is "devolved" back to the Stone Age. Humanity destroyed the Flood cure out of spite & the Flood nommed the Forerunners.

You know seeing this again make me remember evolution. It being 300 years later Tali doesn't "look" exactly as Quarians did back then just like we dont look exactly the same as other humans from 300 years ago. which is a nice loophole to abuse to not show the females unmasked in this mission.

I didn't find it disappointing. Tali was hot. And I don't understand the outrage over the stock photo thing. Many ME characters are based off of real life models (Default Male Shep, Miranda, Joker, Liara and Samara). And if you are just angry because they didn't render her face in game, then boo hoo. Seriously, it's not that big of a deal. At least they gave you the picture.

I didn't buy this game cause it was apparently horrible to play through and endings were... Awful. But my God the Feels watching every Tali seen involed. even legion like this one... THE FEELS to create "The servent of the People" only for it to end up bieng your destruction.
