I have no idea, but from what I've seen, lots of people have the same problem as you do. I had different one, though. During two last missions, Peebee and Cora were glitching constantly and they were standing in the same spot in cutscenes. So they were inside each other, however it sounds, lol.

I think they were supposed to be looking at each other. However, I believe they used one look view for all characters which ended up screwing up the viewing of each other.

so can you get the Movie Night romance after Trial of Hope or do you have to wait to later in the game to get the romance

Movie Night won't trigger until you're right before the two last missions iirc. So it's safe to say that your Ryder should be locked in a romance with someone by that time. You also have to do some preparations for this quest, like buying snacks, booze etc that your teammates requested.

Apparently, the game glitched out( Didn't saw anything from Liam and already need to go to Kadara. Maybe I need to do some quests for Liam.
