Few tips... - The only version of the Pathfinder Armor (Armour) that bears the N7 designation is Pathfinder Armor (Armour) II, which can either be crafted or bought. - If you wear the N7 Classic Armor (Armour) on Podromos, the "Mayor"/administrator will call you out on not having earned the designation...

You can also get Sheppard's armour at that store, you just need to spend nexus points in the trading section of the cryo pods to unlock specialty items at vendors, this allows you to easily get almost everything in the game

Can't wait to get it in the game, will suit my playstyle quite nicely. Still, as a casual roleplayer myself, it will definitly take some getting used to wearing N/ armor without being N7. That being said, i think considering what Ryder goes through in the game and his role as pathfinder and everything, it would have been kind of nice to somehow achieve the official rank ingame as a result of an ongoing questline or something.

The official N7 armour can be purchased at the armour store on the nexus but only once you have hit level 41 minium but it is best to build your character so that you can craft it at level 11 so that you can customise it my favorite set up is two kenetic colis in the chest to improve your damage resistance by 10 two med gel in the chest and leg pieces and two sheild booster peices in the Helmet and arms so that you can boost both your health and sheilds by 8 per cent and if you put all your milky way reserech points into researching the armour you can make a level 3 set which boosts your biotic recharge by 40 percent and biotic damage by 32 percent.

It's actually not Shepard's armor but that off your fathers original armor. The one you buy from the vendor seems to be a "knock off" yes but more or less a "2.0" version of the original N7 armor because it has the ability to access up to 4 mods. The original N7 armor appears to not be able to do the same "not sure" but make sure to pause the video and read the descriptions on the armors. The classic N7 armor is geared more towards biotic abilities. Still would be nice to have both to choose from!

I found that the easy way to get platinum at the start of the game is to use the item glitch on the Nexus on the large container on the operations floor for a few hours

I'm glad you can get the original armor in this game. Unless it becomes woefully inadequate as the game goes on in favor of better armor, I'll probably wear it all the time. I just don't like the new armor very much, and the red undersuit for the new N7 armor really looks weird to me. Black and gray really made the red and white stand out, it doesn't work as well when those colors are on other parts of the armor.

I like to play the story mode in games a lot so is this like an open world kind of game where I can just explore and do my own thing? Or is it more linear. So whats the deal with the "folded down" part of the patfinder armor? I personally Think thats the early concept version. And on the nexus armor vendor there is an armor variant NOT avaible in the game thats hanging on the wall. And the White assault rifle that needs the player to continiusley fire to get good acuracy can be seen as a Blueprint in the nexus bar tv screens. And Liam uses it in the start of the game.

So there's pathfinder and n7 armor. N7 armor is more like shepard. Pathfinder is a black version of initiative armor

I'm actually good with this as a nod to the original. Plus the much loved (he said sarcastically) James Vega had N7 tattooed onto himself when he hadn't even started training. Your Ryder can't exactly train to be N7 in Andromeda, but from what I've heard/read they basically turn into a Shepard like character over the events of the game. It can be earned in the field, just like Vega planned to do, right? In extreme circumstances. Wait, this is just a game. Why am I getting so defensive?

alanw083 Vega was accepted into the N7 program, but couldn't enter training because of the Reapers attacking Earth. He was as close to being an actual N7 operative as he could be considering the situation. So far nothing has been stated in whether or not the Ryder siblings can be considered for N7 status, not even sure if such a program exists anymore. With that said, I don't really mind it too much. It's more of a fan service thing than anything else, and that's okay with me.

Freakin' purists. Obviously you'll find yourself more than worthy of wearing the N7 armor for what you're about to do in the Andromeda galaxy. You're practically the new coming of Shepard, hell, you are basically new-shep no matter how ya splice it. The alliance can have a say on your action based on what they observe, which are tests and trials that prepare you for whats to come but not actual galaxy saving (or in this case, space colony saving). By the end of the game you'll no doubt have earned every right to be N7. Especially if you play on Insane.
