A tribute to the romance between Scott and Jaal set to I'm Still Here (Jim's Theme) by John Rzeznik. Rated T for violence and xenophilia. Lyrics in CC.
My dorky introvert Sara found Jaal's romance a little too overwhelming, and I realized I liked Jaal better with Scott. It's nice to see them support each other through their respective battles with impostor syndrome. It's also heartwarming to see the little physical gestures of comfort and respect between them. In Dragon Age: Origins my Warden Tabris just wanted to give Alistair a happy childhood, and I think Jaal and Sahuna want the same for Scott.
Sorry I made Scott alienated from Alec, Sara and the human team, but when I first threw clips together I couldn't get over how Cora looked disappointed in him in every scene. I decided to frame it in that way rather than bringing Tann, Addison and the rest of the Initiative into it, mostly because I wanted a personal journey (and I can't explain the Krogan Rebellion in two verses anyway).
Now that there are rumors of another Mass Effect game under consideration, I'd just like to say that "Ryder is still here, Bioware."

Always loved this song from Treasure Planet. Surprised how incredibly well it fits, and my fave pairing as well! Although, am I the only one who’s bothered by default-Scott’s hair? It just looks to me less like hair and more like a second helmet 😅 But love this vid! Very well done IMO.

Thank you! Yes, when I first saw default Scott I thought "I am not gonna like this guy," but Tom Taylorson did such a great job with him that I love Scott, plasticky hair and all. Maybe we'll get to see him again in the new Mass Effect game.

@@211Shinobu Oh I have to agree Taylorson did such an ace job! If Scott and Jaal aren’t in the next one I’m going to be sad ☹️ I’ll probably understand but I still be sad 😅 (crossing my fingers super hard though)
