Since deterrence is preferrable to engagement, heaving a sigh of relief and slacking off on enlistment, training, and procurement is folly. Hard to hit the right balance, eh?

The North Korean military is a glass cannon. Armed with outdated equipment, but having nuclear weapons is more dangerous than we like to think. Once Kim feels the slightest amount of pressure, he will press that button. I genuinely wish we could save the slaves, but Kim won't let that happen.

@@alexhanna3921 Do yourself a favour & stop being an arse. 80% failure rate in operational weapons is obviously incorrect given, for example, the high reliability of Soviet Vietnam era SAMs, thus maybe you're referring to the proportion of chips, tubes etc that failed QC, but that doesn't pass the "makes sense" test either. I also note that Vietnam era US AIM-4, AIM-7 & AIM-9 air-to-air missiles were complete dogs, but this was for a plethora of reasons including integrity of the build under battle conditions & climate factors. So when you say "80% failure rate" I ask the sensible questions: of what? At the component stage? At the operational stage? etc etc. So tell me more & what your source is please.
