I'm gonna be honest, why would I ever consider giving any money to anything having to do with Indiana Jones ever again? The people who own the franchise, and the people who are making the game, have made it VERY clear from their recent products that they have no interest in making anything of quality, and will only use the nostalgia of the IP to push their ideology. Sadly there are a lot of what I would consider "Legendary" IPs and studios, that I will never give money to again because of how willing they have been to sell out and treat their customers as nothing more than mindless carriers to spread their infection to.

That gives them tremendous power to push ESG and I don’t see that stopping any time soon. Because Larry Fink doesn’t care about public sentiment. In fact that is precisely why ESG was created. Okay, it's understandable why society has enabled DEI and similar social practices. It's to remind us in a sense that there shouldn't be a mold we stuff anyone into, and anyone can bring about massive profits or losses. The problem is that these displays of inclusion are alienating to some, and those who can sympathize with the message will inevitably become tired of dedicating their energy to peacocking. So if companies do this from the top down, you're essentially forcing every employee along your supply chain to dedicate some amount of consciousness to something that should not concern them. At least, it's a tax write off, but I would think companies are starting to implement this stuff to divide and conquer the workforce/market. If a company is so inept though, these systems can get so bureaucratic that you end up with multi-million dollar losses through mediocre work and wasted time. It's really funny it took them 8 years to realize this.

I think the craziest thing about this is that Jaguar is a luxury car company. Their customer base is always going to be old and conservative because that is who can afford to drop $50k on a depreciating asset. Please remember that Stellar Blade is still censored. shift up compromised with the audience when they released new outfits a month after the release which is something I can at least tolerate. However Skill Up did not keep their word on releasing the game uncensored. No saying to boycott them, or even punish them, however I will probably not pre-order any of their games anymore and just wait for release to see if it is worth getting. The good news is the moment this comes out on PC, ANY censored outfit is going to get fixed REAL quick by mods.

The reason they "censored" most of Eve's first batch of outfits is because the vast majority of them were direct 1-to-1 scans of *real life outfits whose designs are trademarked* so to avoid a potential lawsuit they had to either remove them entirely or alter their design somewhat. If the game were truly censored all outfits would be affected, future outfits would cover more instead of revealing less and the game crossover with Nier Automata would not have featured 2B's iconic skirt removal upon death.

Not saying that Stellar Blade is GOTY, but it is in the conversation and a legit contender. That being said, holding them to account to small things could hold off any big problems from becoming issues in the first place. I like they idea of shift up having the thought process of thinking, "If fans act this negatively to minor changes, we should probably tread with caution here. Stay CLEAR away from any modern audiences thinking." I will still play their games in the future and support the studio when they do things that pushes the industry away from woke b/s. However, their projects are no longer an automatic buy, they will have to earn it. Also, I hate Sony as a company, I hate they are continue to get more and more influence in Eastern entertainment (games/manga/anime/etc.). However, they did not force Skill Up to release an ad stating the game was uncensored, that's on Skill Up. Don't get me wrong, I wish they would divest themselves from Sony completely.
