Cows enjoying music is a surprisingly well known and well documented phenomenon. I read an article about a student who wanted to do research on whether or not it would help milk cows produce more or not. He was a farm kid but not a dairy farm. His neighboring farm back home was however, so he went and talked to the guy, interviewing him and asking if he'd be willing to try it. The man laughed and said, 'follow me.' They went into his barn and there was music playing for the cows. The man said that dairy farmers have basically been doing that since speakers were invented. Studies who it can up milk production by something like 20% if the cows like the music.

Back in my days at UVM when they still had a dairy herd, they would play classical music in the barn. The herd manager said that the cows love music and it helps with "let down" and ultimately improves production. Thanks for posting this lovely interaction between you and the girls. I love it!

In Hinduism, Lord Krishna plays flute and He was surrounded by cows were depicted in photos. When I was young boy 55 years before, I didn't believe it that animals can recognise and enjoy music. Later on I understood sounds are playing very major role amongst all creatures life including humans. From this clipping, it is proved 100% true.
