As a GOAL member this 100% is a law abiding citizen imprisonment act. Don't sugar coat it. This does nothing to help the law abiding. How can you not see that. I hope you clarify your stutter. Healy 2016 was not law. Goal, come on. FCP and GOA all the way. Give me a reason to keep my Massachusetts residence.

Very easy to read this law. Law abiding LTC holders can no longer purchase glocks or Ar15, the most common firearms in the country

I went to purchase an AR a few days after Healey reinterpreted the law. Gunrunner in Middleborough wouldn't sell me the one in the wall. A few years later they were on the news for defying covid restrictions. I respect their defiance, just wish they had more. Especially with that name.

How come none of the cases based on MA 2A laws have made it up to the SCOTUS to review? If any of this got up to the SCOTUS it would be a slam dunk with todays SCOTUS.

@@PawpawRic65 yup I saw an interview with camel toe or heels up Harris, whatever name you want to use, and this is exactly what she wants to do with an executive order she said within 100 days of office if congress doesn’t pass a bill. Mandatory confiscation and using trumps failed death hit to push it. Knew that was coming.

I get irked by people who bitch about voting/calling reps. A quick google search will tell you Massachusetts is only 8.81% republican and 0.35% libertarian. Pro gun democrats are not single issue voters, they are still democrats and they will vote blue no matter who. If all of us went out and voted right now with 100% turn out and 0 fraud we would still lose by no less than a 3-1 margin assuming only registered democrats voted against us. Massachusetts has consistently been in either the top 5 or top 10 for people fleeing the state, most of whom are conservatives who disagree with our authoritarian approach to freedom. Which means that voting block is only going to continue getting smaller. This has nothing to do with votes and never did. Massachusetts can only be saved by a combination of aggressive court interventions.

Senators, Congressmen, governor's, president have no legal lawful constitutional authority or jurisdiction to pass any form of gun laws whatsoever anywhere in the united states of America under 1.) the supremacy clause. 2.) article 4 section 2 paragraph 1. 3.) second amendment shall not be Infringed clause. 4.)9th amendment enumeration clause. 5.)10th amendment nor prohibited by it to the states clause. 6.)14th amendment section 1 no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the united states clause. Combined. All senators, congressmen, governor's, president, judges in the united states of America are all state officials elected or appointed to a specific state and therefore prohibited under the constitution of the united states of America supreme law of the land from passing or enforcing any form of gun laws whatsoever anywhere in the united states of America.

Pass this on to your club. I just sent this to GOAL. Hello, I had sent a valid question days ago concerning this ‘new law’ being implemented on 8-1, GOAL never responded. It was a question as to why GOAL/NRA did not immediately put a TRO on this ‘law’ that was just passed so as to keep gun owners from harm while letting it go through the courts for review, GOAL and the NRA need to address that question. Gun club members/ gun owner’s in general all over the state are wondering why they send you money and you do nothing with it to protect them from the harm this bill does? Again, our bigger concern is Why GOAL did not immediately put a TRO, (temporary restraining order) against this attack on our 2A to halt it so it would do no harm and give the courts a chance to look at it, up to and including SCOTUS?? GOAL would not, had not returned a reply to my question on that, they only want your money, shut up and just send us money……no different than the NRA! Useless! Mark Shean

@@scray00 the last round of AWB cases? They refused them as they would have been accepting on an interlocutory basis and the court is averse to that. Under most circumstances i agree with this but I think when it comes to a Bill of Rights amendment that has been so widely ignored, disrespected and trampled on they should make an exception.

You know once they start confiscating sh even if these things get overturned you’ll never get them back. The dems are ALWAYS playing the long game. I just got here 2 weeks ago and was looking to see what I needed to do to get my license and saw this sh going down. I just read through the summary of this trash that one of the legislizards put out. Interesting thing: "Exempts antiques, curios and relics from the definition of firearm." Ok. Gotcha so now all C&R firearms are no longer guns in Massachusetts and dont have to be registered. Awesome. Thats most of my collection!

In Massachusetts a bill goes into effect 90 days after governor signature unless otherwise stated.

There are a lot of police and police chiefs in the state that won't enforce a bill that's excessive....The state learned that when the first bill was submitted..

@@marsiloficino5060 Most police,, if they employ a connected brain stem..would know their job is easier if the court's focus was making it really painful for people committing crimes using a gun...rather than ratcheting rules up on legal gun owners..In the town we live in.. the general laws are QUITE clear about gun crime.,, yet we seem to have this revolving door policy at our courthouse...Quite common to see a person out on bail for that get arrested again...
